SGA Treasurer Candidate #1 Shane Plantier

“During my seven years at this school, I’ve watched the SGA, and the Treasury within it, grow and evolve, along with the needs of the clubs it governs. And I’ve always been quietly listening to hear the comments and complaints of everyone in other clubs.

If elected to the SGA Treasurer position, I plan to combine the best aspects of the Treasury today and what it was years ago. Back then, you could walk in with an issue and leave with a solution, and nancial requests would come back within a week at most. Today, the Treasury is spread much more widely to cover more clubs, but such size has slowed things to a crawl.

I plan to x this by combining the wide scope of today’s treasury with the speed and transparency of the old so that the treasury under my leadership can be the best version of itself that it can be.”
