BAC Interior Architecture students embark on an immersive educational journey centered on the creation of interior spaces that prioritize human health, well-being, sustainability, and adaptability. As a BAC student, you will build your design and creative abilities in a core studio learning sequence, which is supported by drawing and software courses. You will study building systems to understand what is practical, and study design history theory to explore what is possible.
BACHELOR
• This is a four (4) year or eight (8) semester professional degree accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) that prepares you to become a certified interior designer who understands the expanded role of the field in today’s economy, culture, and technology.
• Gain valuable visual design skills by learning design principles in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Acquire design media skills using both hand-drawing and computer software while you complete interior architecture-focused projects.
• Can be completed fully online or in person.
• This is a three (3) year professional degree that can be completed in six (6) semesters for full time students. This program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. (CIDA)
• Study a wide range of curricular areas, including studio design, design media, history and theory, and more.
• Pursue concurrent practice experience in leading professional design firms, community projects, research, and independent projects.
