Landscape Architecture at the BAC
At the intersection of climate justice and the urban experience, Landscape Architecture students at the BAC excel in sustainability, inclusivity, and accessibility in the creation of vibrant urban spaces. The BAC offers STEM approved Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB)-accredited programs that equip students to address some of the world’s most daunting challenges.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
BACHELOR IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE (BLA)
This is a four (4) year or (8 semester) undergraduate first-professional degree accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board that initiates your path to become a licensed landscape architect.
Gain direct knowledge of natural and constructed systems through studio work in urban design, planning, and site design.
You will have multiple opportunities to learn through travel studios, guest lectures, collaborative projects, and professional student groups.
MASTER IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE (MLA)
• This is a three (3) year or six (6) semester, first-professional graduate degree accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board that prepares you to earn professional licensure.
• Design concepts are supported by media and technology courses, providing you with representation skills and construction technology expertise.
• Gain experience of the natural and constructed systems that shape spaces through studio explorations in urban design, planning, and site design.
*MASTER OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE (MLA) ADVANCED PLACEMENT
• This is an advanced placement two (2) year or four (4) semester, professional graduate degree accredited by the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board that prepares you to earn professional licensure.
• This MLA advanced placement program is designed for students with a firstprofessional degree in landscape architecture, design or architecture-related fields.
• Students finish the program with a comprehensive, practical thesis project.
