JUBILEE SQUARE Your event in the heart of Brighton

ABOUT US Jubilee Square is Brighton’s most exciting and vibrant outdoor and pop up venue space, nestled in the heart of the city, outside the Jubilee Library. The space is ideal for a diverse range of cultural activities including live art showcases, installations, street theatre, exhibitions, community events, outdoor screenings and music events. We also host a wide variety of commercial events, including markets, fairs, tech and media promotions, product launches and sampling. Jubilee Square is a fresh and modern space, sitting in the heart of the city’s cultural quarter, centred on the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, the Dome arts complex, historic Theatre Royal and Komedia cabaret venue. The square sits on one of the city's main thoroughfares, connecting the popular North Laines shopping area to the Pavilion Gardens area, and is a popular attraction for shoppers, tourists and leisure audiences alike. The square provides 460m2 of promotional and event space in a bustling commercial and cultural environment, receiving a footfall of approx. 24-31k per week.

Health and Safety All activities must meet all current Health and Safety legislation, e.g. all cables on site must be adequately covered or positioned well above head height. HOW TO BOOK Booking is easy with just four simple steps to secure your event! Step 1 We recommend that you contact us via email to discuss your requirements. If you already have a date in mind and the space is available, we can provisionally book you in. Step 2 We then send you the event booking form. We need your booking form and other booking documents back at least two weeks before your proposed event (four weeks for large events).

Step 3 Return the following in one email: - Event booking form - Copy of public liability insurance (£10m coverage required) - Risk Assessment - Site Plan - Event Management Plan Step 4 The documents will then be reviewed and signed off. Once agreed with the facilities manager at Jubilee Library, we send you a contract and invoice. The invoice must be paid before the hire takes place and the signed contract returned. Once received, you’re good to go!
