ROLE:
Custodian and Team Leader of Professional Staff in the Organization, Manages Administration and Secretarial work of the National Association.
Secretary of Rules Committee, Finance Committee, National Executive Committee, National Council and other Committees as may be constituted under the rules.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Responsible to the Chief National Commissioner/Additional Chief National Commissioner in Planning, Supervising and Consolidating the work of all Professionals and Administrative Staff co ordinating Training and programme activities.
- Preparing and implementing the programme of work and activities in connection with the development of the Organization and supervision of the NSO/MO under the direction of the Chief National Commissioner.
To prepare the agenda, issue notices and conduct Meetings of the Rules Committee, National Executive Committee, National Council and all other Committees in stipulated time frame with due consultation and approval of the Chief National Commissioner/ Additional Chief National Commissioner
- Responsible for due and effective day to day administration of the National Association like Monitoring, Management and development of Policies, systems, processes and personnel involved. Able to make decision on behalf of the Organization and acts in its best interest. Perform a support, supervisory and leadership role in the Organization
Expected to be aware of the financial status of the Organization and is required to make decisions on financial accountability. Responsible for managing the risks of the organization by ensuring proper financial planning and record keeping as well as reporting financial position to the Chief National Commissioner/Additional Chief National Commissioner from time to time.
Responsible in contributing to Strategic Priorities of the Organization in Planning and development and probably keeping records and reports to the Chief National Commissioner/Additional Chief National Commissioner, National Executive Committee and National Council.
- Responsible for the success of the Professional team in the Organization Develop and lead a team of high performing professionals and consulting staff.
Job Profile – Director, The Bharat Scouts and Guides
Transforming, propose & develop new innovative Policy alternatives, Models and Ideas to manage with constant changes in the Organization. Support and advice Policy/decision in par with WOSM/WAGGGS.
Responsible to meet Government Decision Makers, Government Bureaucrats setting long term goals and strategies for the Organization.
Liaising with members outside the Organization or donors, initiate and foster Partnership programmes and procure fund for the Organization to undertake innovative activities.
Responsible to be approach Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India and other CSR Departments, agencies, corporate etc. to raise fund for the organisation under the guidance of official concern
To ensure safety and security of Professional and other Staff in terms of finance and other benefits of the staff.
Responsible to make appropriate recommendation on adoption of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the Organization.
- Play a mediating role that helps build trust and confidence in the development of the Organization.
- To appoint the salaried members of the staff in accordance with the Staff Recruitment and Service Rules of the Organization on the terms and conditions contained in the order of appointment subject to the approval of the Chief National Commissioner.
To up keep and maintain all relevant record Registers, books, papers and other records consisting of moveable and immovable properties, assets etc. of the National Associations.
In charge of all correspondence and communication of the National Association. Responsible to make cordial relation with State Associations, other NSO’s, WOSM, WAGGGS.
- Head of the Professionals delegates, supervise and evaluates the jobs of different departments and reports to the Chief National Commissioner through Additional Chief National Commissioner.
Editor and Publisher of the official organ of the National Association and all other journals and pamphlets of the Association, unless otherwise provided.
Responsible for implementation, evaluation and achievement of Strategic Priorities of the Organization on Mission Statement of the Movement. Monitoring the programmes for achieving the National Target’s & Priorities.
Processing for issuance and Renewal of Charters of the State Associations, Warrant of appointments at National and State Chief Commissioners and State Commissioners at state level.
Responsible to over see and report to Chief National Commissioner that State Associations are functioning as per provisions made in the Rules of the Organization. Supporting the State Associations in achieving National targets. Assisting weaker States with allotment of available resources in their growth & development.

To initiate arrangement of Press Conference time to time and make effort for regular publication of the programme & activities of BSG in Print & Electronic Media.
- To assist the National Treasurer and others to generate fund for the Organization and set long term financial goals to be self sufficient and self dependent.
- Review, research and suggest appropriate recommendation to the Chief National Commissioner to amend the rules prescribed in the Rules Book of BSG and develop new management Policy.
To lead, manage and co ordinate the effective recruitment, retention and recognition of the Adult Members of BSG in accordance with the Constitution, Organizational Rules and Policies on the recommendations of the Chief Commissioner.
Responsible to ensure Job Security of Professionals of the Organization and recognize them through departmental promotions and also through award system.

Job Profile – Joint Director (Support Services), The Bharat Scouts and Guides JOB PROFILE JOINT DIRECTOR (SUPPORT SERVICES)In contributing to Strategic Priorities of the Organization in Planning and development and probably keeping records and reports to the Chief National Commissioner, National Executive Committee and National Council in the absence of the Director.
To up keep and maintain all relevant records, Registers, books, papers and other records consisting of moveable and immovable properties, assets etc. of the National Associations.
To prepare Annual Report and the Annual Census of the Organization and to ensure IRF & Affiliation fee is received in time from SSO’s and making such payment to WOSM/WAGGGS in stipulated time frame.
Be a Sub editor and Publisher of the official organ of the National Association, all other journals and pamphlets of the Association, unless otherwise provided. Helping in Publication and translation of approved Scout/Guide Literatures and also in different regional languages.
To initiate arrangement of Press Conference time to time and make effort for regular publication of the programme & activities of BSG in Print & Electronic Media. Initiate production of newsreel, Documentary Film and Publicity of the progress and development of BSG through their medium.
Supporting the State Associations in achieving National targets and assisting weaker States to get financial sanction from the appropriate authority through Project Advancement Courses etc.
Integrating the Policies, Procedures, best practices and standard of high quality training & programme determined by the Organization.
In implementation and achievement of Strategic Priorities especially on Management, Finance, and Communication & Public Relations in the Country in consonance with the vision Statement of the Organization.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Joint Director of Scouts & Guides (Programme &Training)
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Responsibilities as given in BSG Rule 45.3
Administration of Regional Office.
- Keeping and Maintaining accounts and all records at Regional Office.
Proper Maintenance of Property and assets of Regional Office.
- Being a leader of Professionals at the Regional office, delegates supervises and evaluates the job of Regional Staff.
- To managed all support service at the Regional Office.
To submit a monthly consolidated report of the Regional Operation.
To raise funds through activities, donation or CSR.
To assist the State Association in working towards National and State target.
To ensure development of youth programme and adult training.
To ensure participation in the National and Regional activities
To monitor and prepare annual plan for Regional States to Achieving National target
Dealing with the correspondence.
Visiting Regional States regularly to support and achievement of the national targets.
To suggest State Training Commissioner to depute eligible Candidates in the different courses.
For visibility of scouting in the region
Effective implementation of Golden Arrow/ Rashtrapati Award Scheme through ROC.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Leader Trainer in any section.
Graduate in any stream
- Professional Course in management.
Knowledge of Accounts
- Good Communication skills and knowledge of BSG Administration.
At least 3 years’ experience as a professional or ROC
