“Girls should be brought up to be comrades. They should take a real and not a visionary share in the welfare of the nation.”
26th January, 2023 was celebrated with great enthusiasm. This year being celebrated as AzadiKaAmritMahotsavand as we progress towards the AmritKaal leading up to the centenary celebrations (2047) I would like to remind you of the words of our Honourable Prime Minister on PanchPran and his idea to see India on the global front Modiji described "developed India" as the rst priority and said that nothingshouldbelessthanthis.
“PanchPran” (ve pledges) which are of special signicance.
1) Accomplishinga“Viksit”(developed)India;
2) Shunning the last vestiges of the colonial mindset;
3) UpholdingIndia’srichlegacy;
4) Bolsteringinternalunity;and
5) Becoming a dutiful citizen (including the prime ministerandchiefministers).
National Headquarters in collaboration with World Association of Girl Guides and Girl scouts and World Organisation of Scout Movement is preparing a strategic plan, focussing growth and sustainability. It would be ideal to incorporate the Panch Pran and plan the strategy keeping the youth in center. The road map for next decade will show case us as a progressing organisation.
PartneringwithWorldAssociation
ofGirlGuidesandGirl
Scouts, World Organisation of Scout Movement and other UN agencies, our association promoted various activities. Bharat Scouts and Guides also took initiative to promote government sponsored projects in skill development & employment of rural communities especially girls. Our projects need to be well evaluated and documented, which will showcase the impact of scoutingandguidinginmakingresponsiblecitizens.
Withbestwishes.

We all know that without the involvement of women in our society and equitable socio economic development, the sustainable development model is impossible to achieve in all aspects of development journey and particularly in the eld of s

Our Vision 2024 speaks about Gender equality but have we achieved it have we worked aggressively on making an extra effort to make The Bharat Scouts and Guides a gender balanced organisation.
It’s time to rethink and make the road map as we moveforwardwithournextdecadeofStrategy.
The State Associations should chalk out action plans to implement the initiatives to create a gender balanced organisation by empowering largenumberofguidesandrangers.
As the educational institutions will be closing soon for summer vacations in a couple of months, we should be able to implement these plans engaging ouryouthduringthesummervacations.
