About 100 bikes and about 165 people came out for the Ride 4 Clyde. Ride 4 Clyde was a benefit held for Josh Clyde following a terrible motorcycle accident. He suffered from many injuries. Josh spent week in the hospital. This benefit was to help him with the medical bills. Everyone is thankful that Josh made it though and is doing well. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who donated their time and effort to help out Josh and made this day great!

In court, the trucking company’s fancy lawyer interrogated Farmer Steve. “Didn’t you say at the scene of the accident, ‘I’m fine?”‘ asked the lawyer. Farmer Steve responded, “Well, I’ll tell you what happened. I had just loaded my favorite mule Suzie into the…” “I didn’t ask for any details,” the lawyer interrupted, “just answer the question. I knew she was in terrible shape just by her groans. Shortly after the accident a highway patrolman came on the scene. He could hear Suzie moaning and groaning so he went over to her. After he looked at her, he took out his gun and shot her between the eyes. Then the Patrolman came across the road with his gun in his hand and looked at me.” “He said, ‘Your mule was in such bad shape I had to shoot her. Cruising for a Cure Poker Run May 13th brought us the second annual Cruising for a Cure Poker Run in Mercer County. Starting out at Thunder Harley-Davidson, they had a good turn out of bikes on a busy Saturday, and were escorted by the New Castle Police Department's motorcycle force. Following the ride, dinner was served at the Wheatland American Legion.

Ride For Hope, Healing and a Future Once again the Pine Valley Camp put on an excellent ride with their 4th annual Ride For Hope, Healing and a Future. It started off with two waves of bikes leaving the camp starting at 11:00 and traveled the scenic roads of Beaver, Lawrence, Butler, and Mercer counties. New Castle Harley-Davidson provided a lunch to all the riders, guests and anyone else that stopped in. After lunch the groups worked their way up to Grove City and made a stop at Wendell August Forge. After the ride they all enjoyed dinner and entertainment by the blues music of Eugene and The Nightcrawlers. The funds raised from this event are to be used by the camp in the much needed replacement of a roof.

POLICE MOTORCYCLE SKILLS

FOR CIVILIAN RIDERS Advanced motorcycle skill courses include the same training exercises used by police motor officers and motorcycle rodeo competitors. Classes are conducted in a relaxed, low-stress environment by highly-qualified instructors. All classes are time in the saddle riding. No boring lectures in a classroom. Womenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s classes and group discounts are available. Precision and Control Course (4 hours) This is a challenging half-day class that will give riders an intimate knowledge of their bikes capabilities. Riders will learn simple techniques that will help them master their rides, and develop ultimate control over their bikes. This course will focus on slow speed and confined space maneuvers with real-life application. Advanced Rider Course (8 hours) This is a full day class for the rider that wants it all. The class will provide defensive riding, slow-speed control and confined space maneuvering skills. Learn and practice techniques that will polish your crash avoidance skills, reinforce proper emergency braking, swerving and rear-end collision avoidance. This course will teach you how to handle your bike with precision and ease, and enhance your overall road safety.
