An appeal has been made to keep the Rennie Park Dog Offleash area open. While city staff has begun the process of dismantling the off-leash area, users of the park have filed an appeal. Deadline for submissions is Dec. 24. Following careful consideration and meetings with the community regarding the off-leash area and repeated
attempts to resolve issues that have arose, the Parks, Forestry and Recreation department announced the off-leash area would be closed.
