The Perth Public School ‘Field of Dreams’ is yet another step closer to becoming reality. Davenport Councillor Ana Bailão’s second annual community barbecue this summer raised $55,000 toward transforming the elementary school’s yard from its current patch of bare asphalt into a four lane rubber running track and soccer pitch. “Each year, I am happy to host the Ward 18 community barbecue in support of a great local initiative,” announced Bailão in her monthly e-newsletter.
