The collective space of Toronto’s laneways amounts to more than 250 acres. That’s equivalent to two thirds of High Park or seven Trinity Bellwoods parks. This unused real estate in the city is bursting at the seams and according to architectural and urban designer Michelle Senayah, it’s a phenomenon she’s observed firsthand through her work in city
building.
