For all the Madrasis “T.Nagar, Thyagaraya Nagar, is popularly known by its abbreviated form T. Nagar, is a neighbourhood in the city of Chennai, India. T. Nagar was constructed between 1923 and 1925 by the Madras Presidency government of the Raja of Panagal. The town was named after Justice Party leader Sir P. Theagaraya Chetty and the neighbourhood is solely dedicated to the important officials in the provincial government and the streets, parks and localities are named after them. It is considered the biggest shopping district in India by revenue.

Ranganathan Street, is one of the most crowded roads for pedestrian traffic during day time. The road is full of wellestablished shops, smaller and petty shops that sell all sorts of household goods and garments. It is worth walking and soaking the crowd for all those shopaholics in the spirit of shopping. They have good stuff which can be bargained or big shops for fixed price stuff. One must spend atleast half a day in this street to do justice to it. Good hot food is available with nice fruit juices just in case you get hungry walking and bargaining for long.

The book is a tribute to Thalaivar, it contain interesting articles that are written by people who have worked closely with him and also from his fans, not only from India but also from one of his fans from Japan. Thalaivar fans will definitely enjoy this book as it helps them to get to know him better as a person off-screen as well. An other added credit to this book are the pictures which can never be seen anywhere else.
