FROM YOUR
PASTOR In case you haven’t been paying attention, it’s already April! Spring Break is behind us and all of the students have began counting down the days until Summer Vacation! But wait! Before we get too far ahead of ourselves and begin making Summer plans, we can’t forget that Easter is nearly here. Of all the Holidays on our Calendar, Easter is the one day that should cause us all to stop and give thanks to God. Without the incredible sacrifice and gesture of love He displayed for us by sending His Son, Jesus, to the cross for our sins, our lives would be completely different. It was through this act of love, and Jesus’ miraculous raising from the dead

that we are here today with a reason to joyfully worship together. It was through this sacrifice and eternal promise of life with our Savior that enables us to unite together as one Church body and praise!

In a large church, the key to making friends and having community is joining a small group. We know you’re busy, so we offer small groups on Sundays at 9:30 and 10:45AM to make the most of your time here.

We feel our student’s and kid’s experiences are some of the best around, so make sure your kids don’t miss out on the amazing things we have going on for them.
Come join us for a night of celebration as we welcome new lives into the world and new lives into Christ through baby dedications and water baptisms. Being a community of believers, this is a night we should not want to miss.
If you have recently given your heart to the Lord or have rededicated your life and want to be water baptized, there is a class we would like for you to attend. So stop by our website, open our mobile app, or visit a kiosk out in the lobby and sign up for a class.
If you have a baby you would like to have dedicated, you can go online or open our mobile app to get signed up. We just need some basic information about your child and a photo we can use at Family Night.
You must be signed up for Family Night by April 13 to participate. So sign up today!
“HELPING YOU GET TO THE OTHER SIDE!” If you have been attending The Bridge for some time now, you have certainly heard this statement! For those of you who are new to The Bridge, get ready, you will undoubtedly become very familiar with this statement too. However, despite our familiarity with the phrase, we often fail to give a whole lot of thought to what it means and how it applies to our lives and those we encounter each day. With Easter just around the corner, we thought that it would be appropriate to explore this topic a little further. Pastor McNabb will be leading us through a series that will not only re-emphasize what our Church’s mission is, but also break it down into three simple steps that we can follow to ensure that each of us and our families are able to reach “the other side” in our relationships with Christ. So lets get down to the basics!
What
exactly is the “other side,” and why is it so important to reach? Every Sunday morning something incredible happens. From all across our community, people wake up, gather their families, load up in their cars, trucks, minivans and drive to our church to attend one of our services. Each person and each family have their own story. They have their own victories. They have their own defeats. They come with their own stresses. They come with their own sins. Some have addictions. Some have financial burdens. Some even come with lifelong regrets. Many have served Christ their entire life. Others don’t know the first thing about Jesus. Some know all of the hymns and some don’t even own a Bible. The point is, we are an incredibly diverse congregation. Yet, we all have one thing in common. We each are coming to church looking for
answers, guidance, encouragement and purpose. Many of us

GROWING As important as connecting is for you and your family, we can’t forget about the equally important need to grow. The only way that you will reach the heights that God desires for you is by placing yourself in a position and environment to grow. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: Whil we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 NIV IT’S EASTER SEASON, and everything’s opening up—the cherry
blossoms and the dogwoods and the redbuds. The birds are back in town, and the flowers also got dressed up all pretty for Easter.
Let me let you in a little secret: Whatever Easter is besides a clever marketing ploy for chocolate companies and basket weavers, it’s
not all clean and pretty and neat. It’s really about drunks and liars and thieves and all of us in the same house, looking out the
windows into oblivion, and the only hope we’ve got in the world is Jesus Christ.
Maybe you’re no liar or thief or drunkard, but maybe you’ve got
broken down places in your heart, and that’s exactly what Easter is about. It’s about Jesus Christ who was no liar and no thief, and He got what we deserved, so we could be free. The same power of
God that brought you Easter Sunday and resurrections can bring you out of your own specific grave, whatever grave you may be in.
What is (or was) your “grave?” Celebrate your spiritual resurrection with Christ this Easter.
