We feel our student’s and kid’s experiences are some of the best around, so make sure your kids don’t miss out on the amazing things we have going on for them.

new Sunday morning sermon series called “The Resistance.” The world we live in today often seems as though it’s pulling in a direction that is opposite of the Biblical values that we hold so close to our own lives. This summer we will explore how we as Christians, can embrace Biblical values and make a positive changes in our communities. By holding firm to our convictions and choosing to live like Christ, we can “resist” the current trends of our society and teach a better way. It’s going to be a great summer! Don’t miss a minute of it. We love being your Pastor,

IN CASE YOU DIDN’T HEAR ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS BEEN DOING AT THE BRIDGE… NYC MISSION TRIP For young adults, the end of May typically means cramming for final exams and then heading home for summer. However, for 16 young adults from The Bridge, the end of May was also a chance to serve the needs of people in New York City. Partnering with a local NYC church, they were able to serve in all 5 of the cities boroughs!

L.A. MISSION TRIP 26 of our Bridge Students had the west coast covered as they traveled to Los Angeles, California in June to partner with the L.A. Dream Center. While there, our team of teenagers served alongside other Dream Center volunteers to better the lives of L.A. residents through food distribution, homeless outreach and community clean-up.

2014 YOUTH CAMP What’s summer with out Camp? This year, 170 of our church’s teenagers invaded Sparks, Oklahoma to attend a fun filled, life changing youth camp experience June 9-13th. For our Bridge Students, camp proved once again to be an incredible week that was not only filled with fun and games, but also powerful and life changing encounters with God.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) Weird Animals was the theme of this year’s Vacation Bible School which was hosted by our Bridge Kids’ department in June. During the week long VBS nearly 300 kids pre-school to 5th grade and close to 100 volunteers gathered each day to learn about how God’s love is for everyone. It was an incredible week! Also, a big thanks goes out to all of the workers that made the week possible! When we serve together, God is made famous!

If you’re looking for an incredible missions opportunity, Project Haiti is your chance! Project Haiti is a continuation of many missions teams that have been sent out by The Bridge over the past 20 years. In Haiti, our team from The Bridge will join up with Latin American Child Care (LACC), to assist the local Haitians by better equipping many of the schools that are in operation in Haiti and assisting the local missionary efforts in their country. The Project Haiti Mission trip is scheduled for November 1-8, 2014 and is open to all age groups. We are looking for people who are willing to give up a week and join us in serving the people of Haiti. People with a wide variety of skill sets, including carpenters, seamstresses, children’s workers and anyone with a servants heart are needed to make this a successful trip! If you are interested in being part of our team, please contact Pastor Ken Isom at the church office or email him at ken@thebridgeag.org The cost for the trip will be around $1300. This price includes your airfare, ground transportation, food, and lodging. All applications are due July 27th. This is a great opportunity to serve those in need. Don’t miss out!

IN THE PAST YEAR, OVER 100 PEOPLE FROM THE BRIDGE HAVE GONE ON A SHORT TERM MISSION TRIP.

better as a family too! One of the best ways to do this is by spending time together. Perhaps you’ve heard it said before, the way that people spell “love” is T I M E, which is why we’ve come up with this simple list of 20 fun things you can do before the end of the summer to help you connect with your family and friends. So, here’s your assignment if you choose to accept: use the list below as a guide or create your own activities, and grab your spouse, kids, parents, grand-parents, friends or even your small group from church and make the most of summer by having a blast! Oh, and don’t forget to share your photos with the rest of us by posting your pictures using the twitter or instagram hashtag, #bridgesummer. Here are 20 of my suggestions this summer:
