IN CASE YOU DIDN’T HEAR ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS BEEN DOING AT THE BRIDGE… BRIDGE KIDS FROZEN NIGHT The groundhog saw his shadow which means 6 more weeks of winter. What better way to embrace that news then gather with friends and families to play games, eat sweets and watch Frozen together! That’s exactly what our Bridge Kids did on Feb 6th. It was a great night!
MAGNOLIA LUNCH Just in time for Valentines day, we had the opportunity to honor all our church’s single ladies over 50 at our Magnolia Luncheon. Without a doubt, these ladies are a vital part of The Bridge and this event was a blast! Thank you to all who helped to make this event a success and a big thank you to all the ladies who joined us - we love you!
REGIONAL JBQ At the end of February our Junior Bible Quiz teams competed in a regional tournament held here at The Bridge. This was a two day event, drawing teams from all over Oklahoma. Not only was there intense quizzing, but there were also plenty of things for the kids to do during their breaks. From inflatables to a petting zoo. You name it, it was there. Our Bridge Kids did great too!
BRIDGE KIDS STAGE REDESIGN An exciting update happened in the Bridge Kids Auditorium last month! As time goes by, there comes a day when things just need a fresh look. Our Bridge Media team partnered up with Bridge kids and redesigned their platform and stage area. Without a doubt, it looks incredible! Thank you for making this possible!

my white skin made the entire orphanage I was working at a target and I was swiftly hidden away in a storage room. It was there that I received a phone call and text messages indicating that serval churches across the city were burning and that rioters were heading our direction. Thankfully, no one was physically injured and the damage was very minor. Overall, about 80 Christian institutions were affected with the damage ranging from very minor to total destructions. The riots were broadly characterized as a Muslim effort to protest against the use of Mohamed in a French satirical magazine. (To read more about Jeremy’s experience that day visit www.seejeremygo.com/blog/ fires-mobs-and-a-phone ) Pulse: With all that has happened, what do you plan to do from here? Jeremy: My goal in Niger is to find 8-12 people and invest my time with them to lead them on a path of friendship with God. When a Nigerian does commit to Jesus only, the individual’s family often shuns them for bringing shame upon them. I intend to continue to invest as much time as needed to support individuals who decide to become Christians. I have discovered that much time and effort is required to build a disciple. The message of Christianity depends upon our current involvement in discipleship. My purpose in Niger is to develop new and young believers through small group discipleship. Pulse: How can we pray for you and the country of Niger? Jeremy: The future of Niger is very much in flux. One of the things that has been in mind is the plight of the Nigerian Christian. What would happen to the Christians of Niger if every foreign Christian/Missionary was forced to leave? Pray for the situation in Niger, but pray more for the Christians of Niger as they begin to face intense persecution. Someone recently said, “Mohamed was about submission while Jesus was about suffering.” It’s easy to forget, in my safe routine, that Jesus’ life revolved around suffering. For many Christians, the fire of the Holy Spirit in their hearts leads to the fire of destruction in their earthly lives. Even so, send the fire!
