Brunch in, breakfast out?
A recent survey undertaken by Jarlsberg, the UK’s number-one deli cheese with holes, found the pandemic had a huge impact on people’s eating habits, with a growing trend for us Brits to favour brunch over breakfast.
The research shows that nearly 80% of people changed their brunch habits during the pandemic, with one in three replacing breakfast with brunch because of waking up later as the nation changed to working from home.
The weekend is still the most popular time to brunch and it appears 50% of brunchers like to have meat as part of this meal.
