This contemporary family home was lovingly designed by Subiaco-based architectural designer Studio Atelier and constructed by custom home builder RJC Construction earlier this year and the end result speaks for itself.

“The matching stone benchtops and splashback work seamlessly with the custom cabinetry and fully integrated Miele appliances.”

“The homeowners can entertain here all year-round thanks to the electric block out blinds and integrated heat strip heaters installed in the timber-lined ceiling,” Mr Hampson said.

“The corbelling detail along the colonnade and the extensive use of travertine throughout the home, particularly in this space, are by far my favourite features of this stunning build.”

The second level of this home boasts a spacious master suite complete with an ensuite and walk-in robe, as well as two minor bedrooms, a bathroom and another sitting/office space.

Timeless approach inside and out Studio Atelier Director Kimberley Swinyard said the homeowners were after a timeless and sophisticated look that would fit well with the surrounding streetscape.

“We worked with the clients from the initial concepts right through to providing the finishing touches,” Mrs Swinyard said.

“Together we chose all the materials including cabinetry, fixtures and fittings and paint colours and worked with Adele from Window Studio to source the stunning window treatments.

“We also collaborated with Anna Flanders to fit out the home with contemporary furniture that paired perfectly with the clients existing antique pieces.”

With special attention to detail both inside and out, together the teams at RJC Construction and Studio Atelier have ticked all the boxes.

“The brief was to focus on generous volumes of space with an abundance of natural light and good orientation and I think we have nailed that,” Mrs Swinyard said. “They also wanted a strong visual connection to the outdoors and to utilise materials that have character, are low maintenance and will age well over time.”
