Harpenden Spotlight on Africa are going abseiling – join us!! Are you are looking for: • the opportunity to develop yourself or people in your organisation? • support a charity doing great work in one of the poorest areas in Africa? • a fun day out doing something you have never tried before.
• challenge yourselves individually or in a team environment. • foster team spirit in your organisation • work towards conquering fears – provides a great confidence boost. A little more about SOA and our current challenging plans. We work in the poorest part of Eastern Uganda, providing schooling (1000 primary pupils), clean water (we have dug 30 boreholes), healthcare (a clinic and 210 local health volunteers), and skills training in fish farming, carpentry, and tailoring. The UK team are all volunteers and over 97% of all the funds given go direct to Uganda.
