WALKING TOUR REPS The English Newspaper for Gran Canaria
THOMSON & FIRST CHOICE GO THE EXTRA MILE FOR CHARITY
TREKKING 20KM TO RAISE MORE THAN 4,000€ FOR LOCAL BREAST CANCER ASSOCIATION

Paul, whose mother had battled with Lukemia, worked to prepare himself mentally and physically for the arduous task ahead, which was to take place over four days of rough terrain mountain hiking, in the knowledge that not everyone has a choice about which mountains they must climb. His partner, Sharon, was concerned knowing that he had not done anything like this before, but that once he set his mind to it, he wouldn’t stop until it was either done or he fell down trying.
It turned out that his resolve was contagious. His co-workers decided that they could do more than simply sell tickets in a raffle...
