Bike Night Is Back At The Shark Tank
By: Lincoln Infield
Spring is in full force, the days are getting longer,
the weather is getting warmer and bike nights are officially back at The Shark Tank in Salisbury, NC. You can usually find a few bikes parked in the parking lot on any given day, but now Tuesday has been designated as bike night. Owned and run by Bobbie Jo and Lacie a mother / daughter team, The Shark Tank is a bar and billiards house just south of “downtown” Salisbury that features a nice big, paved parking lot, 5 pool tables, a huge bar with all your adult beverage options, good lookin’ bartenders, and a semi covered back patio for awesome parties like the bike night kick off on April 6th.
DJ Jazz was heading up the party and started cranking out the tunes around 6pm. It was like the pied piper of biker town cause as soon as the tunes hit the air they were met by the sweet notes of motorcycle exhaust as the lot got full and the party got going. The side lot is reserved for bike parking, but there was really no need since 95% of this evening’s patrons came in on two wheels, but it’s always nice to be catered to, right? Lacie was rocking the bar inside slinging drinks and pizzas all night but made sure to make regular runs to patio to be certain that no one got parched. It was a great night to cut loose and it was good to see a lot of my friends from the area that I rarely get to hang out with.
The Shark Tank will be a new bike night staple for me. You should totally check them out as well. Tuesday Nights are bike nights, but any night of the week or weekend is a great time to stop by, shoot a game of pool or just sit around and shoot the breeze. They are located at 612 S. Main Street in Salisbury, NC and are open Monday through Saturday 4pm to close. Stop by and check ‘em out, and make sure to tell ‘em Full Throttle Magazine sent ya.
