Jump For Israel Raises More Than $12,000

January 2024

Jewish children from all over Charlotte were empowered to make a difference for Israel. By participating in a wide variety of jumping and bouncing activities, each child jumped at least 1,000 times in order to earn sponsorship dollars for Israel at a PJ Library program held at Shalom Park on Sunday, November 19th.

“JUMP FOR ISRAEL” was not only lots of fun, but our children also raised over $12,000 for the Jewish Federations of Greater North America Israel Emergency Campaign, which far exceeded expected goals. Monies will go towards purchasing Hibuki (which means “hug” in Hebrew) stuffed dogs and the accompanying therapy for traumatized children in Israel. We are so proud of our PJ Library and PJ Our Way kids in Charlotte! Am Yisrael Chai!
