Breitling: Navitimer B03 Chronograph Rattrapante 45 The rattrapante is one of the most sophisticated complications in all of watchmaking. Put simply, with two superimposed central chronograph hands, it can measure two elapsed times simultaneously. The rattrapante feature in the new Breitling Navitimer B03 Chronograph Rattrapante 45 is very special indeed, and there are some additional details that define this watch as an instant classic. The Navitimer B03 Chronograph Rattrapante 45 is as aesthetically impressive as it is technically sophisticated. Housed in a big, bold 45 mm 18 k red gold case, it is distinguished by a Stratos Gray dial. Its hour markers and hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, which guarantees legibility in all lighting conditions.
The watch has a bidirectional rotating bezel with the circular slide rule that has long been associated with Breitling’s Navitimers. The Navitimer B03 Chronograph Rattrapante 45 offers another exquisite detail. Normally, a Breitling Navitimer features a stylized “B” logo with an anchor symbol adorning the base of the chronograph hands. But here there is a subtle refinement, with the logo divided between two hands. The B is on the red chronograph hand, while the anchor sits on the split-second hand. As a result, the two elements of the logo are separated when the split-second hand is stopped and reform when the hands realign with each other. www.theciin.com

adidas reveals Predator 20 Mutator with new DEMONSKIN
American actress Sarah Hyland was spotted wearing Paule Ka dress at the occasion of her 2020 Winter TCA Portrait Studio in Los Angeles. Sarah is doing a press tour to promote the last season of the tv show ‘Modern Family’ and has won 22 Emmy Awards and 1 Golden Globes Award.
Celebrate Love with Moynat From the city of love, Moynat Paris launches their Valentine’s Day Collection.
adidas today reveals Predator 20 Mutator with DEMONSKIN, an all-new technology developed to enhance grip on the ball and maximise control. DEMONSKIN is a new breakthrough technology for adidas Football, made up of a textured spike layer on the Predator 20 Mutator upper. Informed by years of data-based research and testing, DEMONSKIN is the result of a computer algorithm being used to create an entirely new interface between boot and ball. DEMONSKIN spikes have been deliberately crafted to wrap the front and side of the boot in a formation that aligns to key contact points with the ball, combining to give players enhanced control and touch on the ball, whilst also promoting spin when striking. Since its inception, the design of Predator has been informed by nature’s most dangerous creatures - symbolic of the powerful and dynamic tendencies that the boot instils in the wearer to give them an advantage over opponents. Taking cues from the extremes of nature, Predator 20 Mutator sees the boot’s iconic shape re-imagined further, with a striking silhouette centring on a high collar and low-cut front creating a sharp and streamlined design mutation. Made iconic by greats of the game like David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Steven Gerrard, the legacy continues with a new generation of players making their mark. The all-new Predator 20 Mutator will be worn by Paul Pogba, Becky Sauerbrunn, Dele Alli, Marc-André ter Stegen and Tessa Wullaert. DEMONSKIN will debut on Predator 20 Mutator and is also set to feature on goalkeeper gloves; empowering players with increased control and enhanced power on punched clearances. February, 2020

Hello Nadine, how are you? Thanks for being our cover girl for the February issue of 2020. Are you working at the moment? Thank you so much for choosing me as your cover girl for February. Actually I did my fourth Guess/Marciano campaign shooting and a few single projects for different brands who want to get the extra glamorous touch. Did you always want to be a model? This is definitely a YES! it was my biggest dream in my entire life! What was your first experience as a model? Were you nervous? I was in front of the camera for the first time at 3 years old. But as I got older, the industry just wasn’t very open to or accepting of healthy, natural curves. But I am really happy that the mentality of the industry has changed and I believe that my time is now. Even though I might be a bit older than most models, I am happy that I took the time to get a good education and develop my personality...both of which are really invaluable qualities to me. Was it harder to be a model growing up? I am always positive. In my teenage the model industry was not open for girls like me. I was too special. But I took the chance finished my college and started university. That pause in my career was good for me. Due to the fact that my body differs from the “classic model” type, I am incredibly proud to be a famous model today and break that mold. I feel like I am a symbol for millions of women around the world who have a body like mine - we should be proud and own it! You are the first Austrian Curvy model to make an international breakthrough, how does this make you feel? It took me a bit longer to get to California than I would have planned, but I am so thankful that I’ve stayed true to myself and my body. I am really proud of the woman I have become and am really in tune with who I am both physically and mentally. I love my body and I feel good in it - no one can take that away from me. What do you think about the message that the fashion world is giving to all women around the world nowadays? I feel that Americans are more open and courageous to take chances and “go against the norm” than Europeans. Did you struggle a lot to reach your goals? Not really. Of course there are always ups and downs in life. I have a clear vision for my life and always keep February, 2020
my mind focused on my dreams. Maybe this is one of my secrets for a happy life. What helped you in your journey to become a world famous model? I found out, that if I want to shine glamorous on the 021 outside I have to feel happy and self-confident in the inside. Additionally, I’ve learned the importance of remaining true to myself as well as treating others and myself with complete respect and send the love I want to get back. Tell us something we don’t know about you. Mmmhhh… Interesting question. A secret? I love shoes - this is not very special, I know Especially high-heels, the higher the better. What do you think about plastic surgery? Would you or have you ever considered it? No! My natural curves are my unique personal proposition. And luckily I have amazing genes from my mother. I have no wrinkles screaming for botox or something else. Do you choose the brands you work with or do they choose you for their campaign? As well ... as. It is important to me that the brands are consistent with my values and my person. Glamorous natural curves I live, that's me and that's what my clients feel. The normal way is that the customers choose me. Because of my experience and what I send out. But I also have several brands on my wish list and hope that I can represent them all in the nearest future.
What’s the most important catwalk you worked on? Guess and Vienna Fashion week. What’s the most important brand you worked with? GUESS What’s the most beautiful compliment someone can give you? That I shine twice. From inside and outside. Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years? As a role model for glamorous natural beautiness in the whole world. Do you travel a lot for work? I do. I have 1 flight a week, what is for an European incredibly much.
You have exceptionally beautiful skin— What are the three key things you do for your beauty routine? I always have a hydrating mist in my bag. I always remove my makeup thoroughly with a good quality face wash and never forget to moisturize. Water is so important! I drink a lot of water to keep my skin (and body) hydrated, looking young and fresh. Who is your biggest role model? My mom. She’s my heart and soul and greatest support A few words for CiiN... Thank you so much for choosing me as your cover model. I m really proud an honored. It’s a big step for the industry that curvy women get so much attention and positive support. It’s my first cover in Middle East so I m thankful to CiiN for making this happen.
What’s your favorite place in the world? Monaco, I love the mix between new glam, lifestyle and historic buildings.
022
What do you miss the most about home? My family! What’s your message for all the women around the world who don’t believe in themselves? Set clear goals and stay focused on them. And remember that sometimes it’s the things that you don’t do in order to stay true to yourself and your values that lead to success in the end. What are your goals for 2020? One more Guess Campaign, Sports Illustrated Cover, Vogue Cover. Where can our readers follow your next steps? On Instagram www.instagram.com/NadineMirada What fashion advice do you have for curvier women? Do not hide or be ashamed of your curves! An outfit always looks great when worn with personality and confidence - both of which have nothing to do with body type or measurements. But when it comes to actually choosing the outfit, don’t hide your body with oversized, tent-like clothing. Instead, focus on really emphasizing your own, unique silhouette by highlighting parts of your body that you love and want to show off. Overall, a well-groomed appearance, great shoes and carefully selected accessories (especially jewelry) give every outfit that perfect touch. www.theciin.com

"A bag can instantly elevate your outfit and look. A bag can be that finishing touch you need, or it can dress up a casual outfit."
Dania has wasted little time in transitioning her fashion studies into a highly desirable brand of sustainable designer handbags that are eco-friendly. Her passion and eye for detail are helping the Saudi Arabian entrepreneur help women create a fashion statement that is contemporary while echoing one of the most icon eras in fashion, Art Deco.

February, 2020
Please introduce yourself. I'm a 25-year-old Saudi Arabian designer and owner of the DANIA SHINKAR brand, a Saudi and Ireland-based contemporary bag brand.
Tell us your education. I completed my Bachelors and Masters degrees at London College of Fashion (University of the Arts London). For my BA, I studied Fashion Textile Print Design, and for my MA, I studied Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation. After completing my Masters, I did short intensive courses: Patternmaking at Central Saint Martins; Sewing Skills and Bag Design, both at London College of Fashion.
When did you realize you had an affinity for designing bags? When did you decide to become a designer? I was planning on designing clothes as I had studied Textile Design. But after my Masters, I wanted to explore a different realm of fashion, an area that was entirely new. I took an intensive course in bag design, fell in love and found my true calling.
What is it about a bag that excites you?
048
The challenge of designing something that looks unconventional yet remains completely functional. Finding that balance is challenging, which is what makes this exciting for me. I also believe women's personalities are reflected in their choice of handbags, and I think that’s so exciting and interesting. A bag can instantly elevate your outfit and look. A bag can be that finishing touch you need, or it can dress up a casual outfit.
When and why did you decide to start your brand? My inspiration stemmed from a lifelong passion for designing. I knew I wanted to start my brand since my first day at London College of Fashion. As cliché as this might sound, I just wanted to see my ideas and designs brought to life and be worn by others. I felt I had something unique to offer and bring to the market.
What was your biggest fear going out and starting your line? I guess my biggest fear was, “what if it fails?” Starting your own business is like taking a leap of faith. There’s no guarantee of success, so it’s the uncertainty that’s scary. But I always keep in mind that it’s better to fail than to never try!
Describe your brand in three words. Contemporary, sustainable, unconventional
How would you describe the DNA of the brand? The brand’s personality is explorative and experimental in its design approach in reinterpreting vintage designs with modern philosophy. Sustainability is at the heart of the brand. From using eco-friendly materials to practising waste reduction to using ethically sourced leathers, we try to implement sustainability practices in all stages. www.theciin.com

Do you take part in the production of your bags? No, but I manage the production process from A to Z. The handbags are manufactured in Italy at a genuine leather factory that’s run by a master artisan and a team of skilled craftsmen. Even our hardware is custom-designed and made in Italy. Our leathers are responsibly sourced from the finest Italian tanneries.
Tell us about your collection Our debut collection is inspired by artist Nathalie Du Pasquier’s abstract sculptures and geometric installations. The collection also takes inspiration from one of the most highly stylised eras in design, Art Deco.
Are all your bags made from leather? What kind of leather are you working with? Do you want to explore other materials as well? Our bags are made from the finest Italian leathers. We work with smooth calfskin, suede, and crocembossed calfskin leathers. Our signature handles are custom-made and 100% handmade from Cellulose Acetate, a natural and renewable material which makes each piece distinctive and eco-friendly.
How do you motivate yourself? I don’t have a specific strategy to motivate myself; I think for me, it just comes naturally because I’m
www.theciin.com
I'm mostly inspired by art, architecture, vintage design and surrealism. My favourite apparel designer is Mary Katrantzou, and my favourite bag designer will always be Judith Leiber.
Will you design bags for men? Or do you have other plans? I’ve actually been asked to design for men, but it isn't really in my upcoming plans, but who knows? I want to expand my collection to include other types of accessories like scarves and wallets.
What's next for your brand, and how do you plan to get there? I wish to stock my products at top international fashion retailers and department stores.
Where can CiiN readers purchase your bags? Online via our brand’s website at www.dania-shinkar. com.
What is absolute happiness for you? My family's happiness and safety. Achieving my goals for the brand and witnessing its growth and success. It would be my absolute happiness to see others enjoy my products.
Best piece of advice you've ever received and from who? “Whatever you think, whether positive or negative thoughts, you will attract and manifest, so always keep your thoughts positive - and positive things will start to happen” - my mother.
A few words for CiiN magazine. Thank you so much for reaching out and featuring me. I'm flattered and honoured. very passionate about what I do, and I love my work. My brand is like my baby. I’m 100% selfmotivated and driven when it comes to work, and that's exactly why I wasn't worried about taking the entrepreneurship path. I believe the most important quality when launching your own business is self-motivation.
What are your other hobbies? Drawing and painting; dancing and playing fun games with friends and family like Charades.
Where do you find creative inspiration? Do you have a favourite designer you admire? September, 2019

This February, Monki is releasing their latest denim campaign promoting new styles and new ways to wear them. This season’s drop substitutes the classic white tee and fitted blue jeans – with bright organza blouses and unique denim details. An inspiring reinvention of how to do denim.
052
Key pieces include the asymmetric denim skirt that can be styled over straight leg jeans, for a back to the 90s look. Co-ordinated sets and vintage fits are perfectly paired with feminine blouses. Not least, new shades of rust brown and blush pink set the tone for the upcoming spring season. Since 2016, the brand’s entire denim range has been made with 100% organic cotton. And from 2018, all Monki cotton has been 100% sustainably sourced. A small step towards a big goal to only use recycled or other sustainably sourced materials by 2030. The collection will be available online and in stores mid-February.

"I love being able to show people just how beautiful they are. Their smile makes me happy. I am an artist, and this art that happens in the moment makes me super-excited."
Married mum-of-one, Iranian-born Rana helps to perfect the images of her clients in her adopted home of Toronto. Having had a career background and education in IT, she decided to quit her job and pursue her first love of becoming a make-up artist. "When you love what you do, there's nothing tough in your job. Thank you for your great job and happy to be part of this awesome magazine.
www.theciin.com
Please introduce yourself: I am a professional make-up artist and founder of Make-up by Rana and RT Beauty Studio Inc. Originally from Tehran, Iran, I moved to Toronto, Canada, in 2012 with my parents and a younger sister. I have been married for six years and we have a lovely baby girl, Lillian, who is two-and-ahalf years old. Make-up has always been my passion and began with me painting portraits in my early years.
Tell us about your education: In 2010, I received my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering and followed that up with a Master's degree in Computer Networks Engineering from Ryerson University, Toronto, with honours. In 2012 I graduated from Canadian Beauty College with a diploma as a make-up artist.
Who or what influenced you to become a make-up artist? My mom and her sister as they had a beauty salon
in Iran. Growing up in that environment and always being into the beauty industry was the main reason for me to experience that artistic part of my soul.
What professional training did you take to make this as your career? Working with amazing and professional make-up artists helped a lot. I am always refining my skills by attending professional events and masterclasses such as "Make-up by Mario".
How long have you been working professionally, and how did you get started in your career? I began my freelance career as a make-up artist in 2012 right after I received my diploma from the Canadian Beauty College. I began working in our beauty salon in Toronto, which we established that same year.
What is the toughest part of your job? When you love what you do, there's nothing tough in your job. I love everything about what I am doing right now.
What do you like the most about being a make-up artist? Confidence is a powerful thing! I love being able to show people just how beautiful they are. Their smile makes me happy. I am an artist, and this art that happens in the moment makes me superexcited.
When and how did you launch "Make-up by Rana"? When I finished my master's degree, I started working in IT for the biggest Mobility/Communication service provider in Canada. Make-up was my parttime job for the weekends. After having my daughter, I started "Make-up by Rana" by signing up an Instagram page. When my maternity leave finished, and I went back to work, I felt something was not right. I was not as happy as I used to be. I decided to quit my IT job and put all my love, energy and time into what I believed I am very good at. That's how Make-up by Rana started.
What were some of the initial challenges you faced in your business? Many challenges like every other businesswoman who wants to start a business. Mostly getting your name out there and getting people to trust you.
February, 2020
059
What is your signature make-up style, and what sets you apart from other make-up artists? I love natural, 'glowy' and simple but beautiful makeup. I believe no matter how much make-up you have on your face, it has to be natural and blend very well to look like it's yours, and not like you're wearing a mask on your face. I always take my time and use a very soft hand to reach that flawless look.
What do you consider to be your biggest career accomplishment so far? Making every single one of my clients happy, and 100% satisfied. I am thrilled that I developed and maintained trust-based relationships with my clients.
Today's woman is busier than ever. What is the easiest/quickest way to turn a day/work look into something that works for a night out? Nowadays, no one has time to sit in front of the mirror for hours to do make-up! Just like me! On my Instagram account, I am well known for my tutorials on how to do your make-up in 10 minutes. By skipping the foundation, applying the highlighter 060 on the areas you want to highlight, darker eye shadow, beautiful eyeliner and maybe some false lashes you can complete your look for a night out! You can even go for bolder lips!
Where do you draw your inspiration from, and how do you keep yourself updated with
the latest trends? As an artist, I have great imagination and come up with new and unique ideas of how to apply make-up. Also, thanks to technology, there are different online platforms which keep me updated with all the latest brands and techniques of make-up.
What three make-up items should no woman leave home without? Mascara, lipstick and blush. But, of course, skincare always comes first. So I would also add sunscreen.
What are some of your hobbies? I love to read; doing exercises like Yoga always helps me to relax and feel better. Snowboarding is my favourite winter sport.
For which celebrity would you like to work? Scarlett Johansson.
What are your must-have, all-time favourite products? A good foundation that matches your skin, and after that, a good setting powder is a must. Estee Lauder Double Wear is my favourite foundation. For setting powder, I like Charlotte Tilbury. Patrick TA has some amazing blushes. My favourite shade is "She's seductive". Dior has the best highlighter palettes. For the eyes, a good eye shadow palette is a must! I really like Biba Palette from Natasha Denona.

Looks are fresh and breezy thanks to rounded shapes and open-work details. The casual sensuality embodied by airy, polka dot dresses and crochet knits that skim the body is balanced by crisp outerwear, double- bonded in beige and orange, or high-waisted khaki pants with military features. Volume varies with ease, from a fluid dress in parachute-like fabric, to A-line jupe-culottes in beachy striped canvas. Ribbed and ruffled tops and cycling shorts can be worn separately, or together as a flirty, form-fitting total look. Denim expresses individuality, whether monochromatic patched jeans or a bleached panelled vest that zips around the waist. Jersey dresses give playful swing from day through evening. Capri’s rugged shoreline and local colours inspire the palette: white and black, bleached and earthy tones, bright bursts of yellow, red, and bottle green. And of course, blue with glints of lurex conjures the crystal-clear water. Meanwhile a patchwork
of lively patterns, plus a parasol motif preserve a sense of fun. T-shirts and denim jackets boasting postcard graphics become a must-have souvenir: SeeByChloé by the sea. The season’s shoes bridge this coastal dream with city style. Kara sandals feature an interlocking leather ring design in shades of bronze, coral and black, and also come as a more simplified thong. Yumi is a sneaker-sandal hybrid with a sporty side, while Kaori’s strass embellishment signals glam. Bags span both purpose and personality: Maddy is the new sophisticated day bag in grainy and smooth leather with signature braided handles. Beth is a cool, easy-to-carry satin shopper in deep colours or parasol print with reversible contrasted sides. Treccia’s hand-braided surface, shoelace fringe and mixed material handles add up to a vibrant statement. Hana returns with an artisanal raffia strap to finish embodying the Capri sprint.

moment I found my dream job and felt vindicated that everything came together at the right moment when I was ready.
Do you have art studies, or were you self taught? I studied fashion design in Greece and then I got involved in the fashion industry more seriously. Now I study graphic design to expand my software skills as well as fashion styling and visual merchandising because I love to learn new things that will help in my work.
Describe your illustrations in three words? Balanced, intense, invigorated.
What projects have you worked on? What was the most challenging/most rewarding?
076
Despite my new entry in the illustration community, I had the opportunity to meet some big challenges. One was a job with a fashion company in Qatar. It was my first in this area, and I had to learn quickly about the different culture to create illustrations for them.
What is your background, and how did you get into drawing? Drawing came suddenly in my life while I was studying at the Department of Management Science & Technology. Very quickly, I grew bored, so I began to study fashion design in an atelier Haute Couture although it was difficult for me to afford two schools. After this, I realized my love for illustration, especially in fashion. Returning home, I suffered panic attacks and lost all my self-confidence. There were days I couldn't go outside, yet I wanted so badly to find a job in my field, but my anxiety was out of control. So I stopped hunting my dream job and worked in our family company for a long time. But this led to more stress, and I couldn't continue to live like this. The whole time I was working there, I attended workshops about fashion management, fashion illustration and I developed software skills that are so important today. I made a hidden Instagram account and a website with my artworks. I was designing every day. It was my liberation. Then one morning I decided to publish everything to my people, my friends and to everyone. At that

Who or what has been the biggest single influence on your way of thinking? One influence over the years is my mother's portraits of different women. She had a gift in sketching faces. It was so inspirational to me. I admire how she designed perfectly.
What would you say is your strongest skill, and how have you honed that skill? My devotion to this and my fantasy. The latter helps me a lot in my work. I was born with the fantasy, but the devotion came over the years. When you love something so much, you dedicate completely.
What materials do you enjoy working with the most? September, February, 2019 2020
I've worked with most, but my favourite is a woodless graphite pencil or my black permanent marker.
What is an average work-day like for you? My daily routine is unsettled, and every day is different. There are days that I have a lot of projects to work on combining the outside responsibilities and my schools. It is challenging for me to work at home, but I try to concentrate on the things I have to do. Usually, I am locked for hours in my office, trying not to be distracted.
What are you currently fascinated by, and how is it feeding into your work? I am intrigued by different religions and diversity through concerns personalities, uniforms, beliefs. I think diversity inspires me a lot.
078
When someone commissions a project, what's the first thing you do, where do you start? When someone commissions a project, the first thing I do is research the company, the style, the history and everything required for my inspiration.
What are you passionate about besides illustrating? I love to read books especially psychology books, which inspire me to learn how a human brain thinks, how we can control our thoughts and our self. I am excited about eating chocolate and watching Netflix series. I am passionate about my people and love spending time with them.
www.theciin.com
079 Do you have any superstitions or rules that you live by? Seriously, no. I don't follow any particular rule in life.
What's your motto? Nothing unique, but I use it very often: "We don't have so much time as humans on earth so let's do the things that WE desire more and to risk."
What do you consider your proudest moment so far? Maybe the first time I advertised my professional account to people. I felt more active and somehow proud of my designs.
What are your plans? I usually don't say aloud my plans because it is better not to discuss things that you won't do by tomorrow. Everything else is far away. But for sure, I have many plans in mind.
What is your dream project? Every project that I didn't do so far. As a new illustrator, I have many dream projects that I wish someday to work on. February, 2020

Berluti x Globe Trotter This season, Berluti collaborates with British hand-crafted luggage brand Globe-Trotter to create a Travel Capsule collection featuring Berluti’s SIGNATURE Canvas for the first time. Inspired by the shared artisanal heritage of both houses - GlobeTrotter was founded in 1897, only two years after Alessandro Berluti started his own brand -, Berluti’s Artistic Director Kris Van Assche’s aim was to create a collection with a shared philosophy. “At the heart of both our work are quality and a know-how that have remained unaltered throughout history.” Each case is the result of combined expertise, starting with the solid yet lightweight base of Globe-Trotter’s luggage - obtained through a process in which 14 layers of Japanese paper are compressed to form an organically-textured shell -, and then completed with Berluti’s brand new SIGNATURE Canvas and iconic details, including hand patinated Venezia leather handles and corners, leather straps and nickel hardware engraved with the Maison’s logo, mostly assembled with the same set of tools that Globe-Trotter has been using since its foundation. The Globe-Trotter Travel Capsule includes eight hard cases in different formats: 2 rolling suitcases, a shoe trunk holding up to six pairs of shoes, a shoe care kit case and a watch box, as well as day-to-day accessories such as a messenger bag, a backpack and a briefcase.

In Celebration Of Love, CHARLES & KEITH Launches Its Valentine’s Day 2020 Collection Of Feminine And Romantic Accessories www.theciin.com
This year, the CHARLES & KEITH Valentine’s Day collection goes to the heart of love and explores its concept through the lenses of romanticism, affection and self-love. In a palette of black, red and white, this striking collection is titled ‘Words Of Love’. Featuring unconventional acrylic jewellery, geometric bucket bags and sweetheart cut shoes, it is a stylish expression of love – which is conveyed through tender-hearted inscriptions, such as “Just us two, you and I” and “Mon Amour”. Please introduce yourself. I'm a Lebanese journalist and TV presenter.
Tell us about your education As a very social person interested in human relationships, I studied sociology. My love and passion for understanding the world more realistically led me to media, and now I'm planning to continue my Masters and PhD to expand my knowledge further.
How did you get interested in the media field and why a TV presenter? I've always had an interest in this domain. It was always a childhood dream to become a presenter. Younger, I used to watch TV and observe how presenters spoke, sat and acted.
Have you ever been nervous while presenting a show? Of course, we all experience slight nervousness when standing in front of an audience.
How did the role of a presenter change your life?
100
It changed me a lot! It made me realize that nothing worth having comes easily, you have to work hard for it, and appearances can sometimes be deceiving! I learned to be responsible, independent, confident and careful but honest with my words and the way I act.
What is the first thing you do when you’re stressed? I eat dark chocolate. I find that it reduces the stress a little bit.
Describe a typical day for you? I wake up, drink my coffee, spend some time with my two dogs, then I dress, go out and prepare myself for shooting. When I finish, I meet up with my friends then return home for a movie night with my family.
Can you explain your career path to date? Contrary to what people think, it's a long path to pursue. I started my career on radio (seven programmes for three years), then became a managing editor of three websites, hosted an online programme that tackles everything related to women's beauty and health, and lastly a programme on a famous Algerian TV.
Who is your daily source of inspiration? My mother! She's my number one supporter. I believe that if I am this successful person today, it's because of the strength my mother gave me! There are so many things that I don’t think I would ever be able to do if it wasn’t for my mother’s words and for her constant push for me to do better and dream bigger.
What do you love most about your job? Being a journalist and presenter amplifies, even more, the freedom of speech and expression that we all as humans have. Since media is the most powerful entity on earth today, we can impact people's lives and positively influence them. I like the challenge of being objective, deep and searching for the real story beneath the surface.
What’s in your handbag/ satchel? Wallet, hand sanitizer, hair elastic, earphones, keys and a pocket-sized holy book, and no you won't find makeup because I don't put anything on my face unless I am shooting.
What are your best projects to date? I am thankful for EVERY opportunity I've had. All the projects I did made me the person I am.

Do you have any interesting film or TV projects coming up? Yes, I'm working on a new project with a local Lebanese TV station.
Where do you see yourself in five years? I can imagine myself realizing all of my dreams and projects I am working on right now.
Where do you go if you ever feel you need some time alone? I rarely want to be alone, but when I want to recluse myself, I go to a natural spot on a hill, the beautiful scenery makes me forget everything.
What are some of your hobbies?
What can’t you leave home without?
Writing, reading, taking care of my pets, shopping and discovering new cultures.
My mobile phones.
What is your life motto?
What do you believe has been the key to your success?
I change my life motto often based on my recent experiences. Currently, it is: "Rome wasn't built in a day" it reminds me that best things take time to build (personal strength, 103 career, relationships, etc.).
Believing in myself, dreaming big, the passion I have for this career, patience and family support are the most critical factors in my work life.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
What is your biggest accomplishment at work or a moment you’re most proud of?
Do what you believe is right because you can't please everyone, people are people, and no two people are alike.
All of them, I am proud of every step I have taken toward reaching my goal.
Tell me about your hidden talents?
Do you believe in love?
One thing which not many people know about me is that I like acting.
Yes, I do. Always have and always will. No matter how ugly this world becomes and what it throws at me, I'll continue to believe in it! Love isn't only about romantic relationships it's also loving God, loving your parents, work, children and that's the finest and purest type of love! Without love, you'll never be able to feel bliss in the tiniest moments that you spend with loved ones. Without it, we will always be miserable and unappreciative of things and relationships.
What is the one place you would want to visit in this world? Sri Lanka. I heard a lot of people calling it heaven on earth.
What is your favourite movie/song? Favourite movie: The Fault in Our Stars. Favourite song: Non je ne regrette rien - Edith Piaf.
Your message for CiiN magazine. Thank you for this lovely interview. It was a pleasure, and I wish CiiN magazine continued success. February, 2020

PAULE KA PRE-FALL 2020 Welcome to a fresh and bright dose of vitamins, inspired by a 60’ funfair: pink, curacao blue or kiwi green, milkshake or candy pink... Happy colors, Sweets & Candy prints set the tone of a joyful collection. Freshness, vitality, recklessness, can be felt everywhere. A fundamental element for Paule Ka, the drapes are unusually shifted, as if they were knotted on the shoulder. Here and there, yummy cherries or ice cream cones patches can be found on jackets, embroidered on t-shirts, or knitted on wool and cashmere jumpers. Jackets or dresses are cut like hearts around the breast. Dots are printed on cotton gabardine and gingham livens up a fluttering skirt. From business meetings to cocktail parties, the collection is sometimes punctuated with black & white outfits, checks or iconic dots.
110
A business-like skirt or a suit in Prince of Wales, a candy apple topstitched froack coat all add an automnal touch to this wardrobe. At night, under the neon lights, a“leaf” jaquards mingle with Tafftetas and Tuxedo suits turn into a bare back jumpsuit or a long dress. Heartshaped clutches, the Trapèze bag or bubble-gum sandals define a very PAULE KA.

GIVENCHY FALL WINTER 2020 MEN'S COLLECTION An innate ability to interpret tradition with spontaneity is the key to new elegance. Self-expression is paramount, permitting moments of unbridled opulence and psychedelia within the everyday. Clare Waight Keller liberates the Men’s Fall - Winter 2020-21 collection with an intimate ode to the modern man, adorned. The tenets of the New Age drifter imply a penchant for collecting, embellishment and artifice. The subcontinental style of the 14th Maharajah of Indore (1908 - 1961) is a key visual cue for the season’s symbiotic relationship between clothing and jewellery. In the 1930s, he travelled to Los Angeles from India, where he fell in love. The fearless aristocrat embraced Modernism and elements of the West throughout his life and spent his days draped in pearls, gemstones, and precious metals. His
influence immerses the collection in a lavish hedonism, juxtaposed by the fetish remix of a sleek future wardrobe. Elegant hardware evolves the silhouette of slimline Givenchy tailoring, as double-breasted blazers and nipped coats fasten with brooches, kilt pins, and fob chains spinning with charms. Wrapped shirts and gilets mimic their formality, whilst a contrasting suit lapel, jewel-toned latex layers and a zipped cummerbund subvert classic proportions. Horology and lapidary sketches become totemic prints on stretch tulle and jersey tops, informing flourishes of bullion thread and crystal embroideries on Haute Couture topcoats. Injecting toughness, glossed leather trousers, oversized patchwork knits and boxy shirt jackets echo the sleek nocturnal attitude of chromecapped, square toe boots worn under a bootcut pant. In hand, the giant Antigona Soft carry-all is crafted in polished calfskin with woven toile or rich shearling panels.

Kurdish-Canadian Hevi is on a continual journey of self-discovery with the aim of not only growing inside, but helping their immediate community. Please introduce yourself. I'm an entrepreneur, public speaker and fitness fanatic. I am a Kurdish-Canadian residing in Vancouver.
Tell us about your education. I went to college for Kinesiology. I then spent a decade after that expanding my knowledge attending workshops, reading multiple books and taking online courses in entrepreneurship, social media marketing and more. To me, education is a lifelong process, and I'm in school every day of my life.
What is your career path to date? I have always been curious about different fields. Growing up, I wanted to try almost everything. I spent years working in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, the airline industry as a flight attendant and then the tech world, in marketing and business development. Today I run a coaching platform called Bloomshell. I believe you have to try different things to find the one thing you're genuinely passionate about.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job?
122
I decided to become an entrepreneur because I believe we are all creators and can invent ideas that can impact the lives of those around us. People think running a business is all glorious and exciting, and while that's true, there is so much more to it. You need to be willing to spend an enormous amount of energy for sometimes little to no return. While it's not always easy, it's undoubtedly the most rewarding path I have ever taken.
What gets you out of bed in the morning, i.e. what's your source of motivation? To become a slightly better person than I was yesterday to impact my community positively.
What challenges/obstacles have you faced in your journey so far? My greatest challenges have always been within me. They have been limiting beliefs about my capabilities that have primarily made it much harder to achieve my goals. These obstacles, however, are a necessary part of our growth. But once I learned to overcome things like self-doubt or how I defined myself in this world, I was able to follow my purpose.
What comes first for you – money or emotions? Emotions. We all want to be happy, and by learning to create positive emotions, we can live contentedly regardless of how much money we have.
How do you handle the pressure and manage stress? Exercise, meditation and a to-do list! www.theciin.com

Thank you for allowing me to voice myself. I love the work you guys are doing and how you are empowering women. I look forward to seeing your innovative ideas come to life for your readers!
124
www.theciin.com
How did you become a fitness fanatic? It was always my outlet during the most challenging times in my life. The gym was my safe place, and it continues to be.
What advice would you give to someone starting on their entrepreneurial journey, particularly women?
What is your fitness regime? I'm currently on a strength conditioning programme. I primarily do a lot of heavy weight lifting. I train five days a week, and when it comes to nutrition, I focus on eating 70% healthy and 30% unhealthy.
What are happiness?
the
secrets
You have something to offer to this world. Don't be afraid to get yourself out there and try. Create a plan and don't worry if everything doesn't go according to that plan. Life throws curveballs, and the most important thing is to be willing to adapt and try different methods until one finally works. And, the best part of becoming an entrepreneur is the journey itself.
for
Learn to love yourself unconditionally and do things to help others in some way.
Name one strategy you believe has helped you grow as a person? Clearing out the noise. My ability to disregard others' opinions and follow my own direction.
125
In your opinion, what are the keys to success? Do the work. If you fail, then do the work again until you win.
What is BLOOMSHELL? What does it offer? Bloomshell is a coaching platform that aids people through self-development and business strategy. We currently run one-on-one transformation programmes and live workshops across Canada. Our main goal is to drive change, help people achieve more and live fulfilled lives.
What are some of your hobbies? Boxing, dancing and writing.
Your all-time favourite book, and what are you currently reading? The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz, and currently reading Think Like a Startup by Steve Sammartino. February, 2020

says Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. “This car reminds the driver of Lamborghini’s pure engineering origins: the driver is at the center of the Huracán EVO RWD’s performance, with unfiltered feedback and an emotive and more engaging driving experience controlled by the pilot. The Huracán EVO RWD performance relies on the harmony between man and machine: driving skills and the Huracán EVO’s RWD mechanics deliver perfectly balanced dynamics, physical feedback and a pure performance. The Huracán EVO RWD enhances the V10 Huracán line-up with a model appealing to brand newcomers as well as those seeking sublime driving fun.”
utomobili Lamborghini announces the Huracán EVO Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD): a visceral driving machine, delivering 610 hp (449 kW) of power at 8,000 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm to a lightweight car with rear-wheel drive and dynamic steering for maximum driving fun. Weighing just 1,389 kg, the Huracán EVO RWD has a top speed of 325 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. Despite its top-figure capabilities, the Huracán EVO RWD is not focused on straight-line speeds or lap records: with a unique new design, the Huracán EVO RWD proclaims its designation as an instinctive driver’s car.

The P-TCS intervention is calibrated according to the Huracán EVO RWD’s driving modes, selected via the steering wheel’s
The V10 engine delivers more than just power to the rear-wheel drive set-up: the sound of the naturally aspirated power plant combines with the specially tuned traction control system to deliver the most emotive, fun-to-drive experience in both dry and wet conditions, and even snow. The new Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) is calibrated specifically for the rear-wheel drive Huracán EVO, delivering torque even during the phase where the car is realigning following drifting or side-slipping. Whereas a ‘normal’ traction control system delivers a sharp decoupling, waiting for a car to become completely stable before delivering torque again, the P-TCS car delivers torque in advance, avoiding a harsh torque cut and assuring better traction when exiting a corner.

ANIMA button (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management: ‘soul’ in Italian). In STRADA, the P-TCS minimizes rear wheel slippage to ensure stability and safety in all conditions: with a more proactive strategy P-TCS manages torque delivery on low-adhesion surfaces. In SPORT mode, the P-TCS maximizes the fun-to-drive experience: the rear wheels can slide and skate during acceleration, for easy drifting fun without compromising safety. The system recognizes conditions where the angle of oversteer increases rapidly and limits torque delivery to the rear wheels, allowing the driver to perfectly control and stabilize the car. In CORSA, the P-TCS is calibrated to achieve the rear-wheel slip that optimizes the car’s traction and agility when exiting a corner, allowing the driver to maximize performance. The P-TCS improves smoothness of intervention by 30% compared to the previous Huracán RWD model; improves corner-exit traction by 20% and enhances oversteer by 30%. The Huracán EVO RWD’s hybrid chassis integrates lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber with an aluminum and thermoplastic resin body, with a total dry weight of 1,389 kg giving a weightto-power ratio of 2.28 kg/hp. With front/rear weight distribution of 40/60, the Huracán EVO RWD sits on double wishbone suspension with overlapped quadrilaterals and passive shock absorbers. The electro-mechanical, servo-assisted Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) is tuned specifically for the Huracán EVO RWD, ensuring maximum feedback. The seven-speed dual clutch gearbox ensures the fastest gear changes, with launch control for maximum acceleration from a standing start. The 19” Kari rims with specially-developed Pirelli P Zero tires are fitted with ventilated and cross-drilled steel brakes. As an option 20” February, 2020
rims and carbo-ceramic brakes are available.
Fresh design for pure performance The Huracán EVO RWD continues the V10 Lamborghini’s powerful design with new front and rear features, clearly differentiating it from its Huracán EVO 4WD stablemate. The Huracán EVO RWD is characterized by a sculpted, purposeful persona, complemented by a new front splitter and vertical fins within the larger, framed front air intakes. The rear bumper in high gloss black incorporates a new diffuser unique to the Huracán EVO RWD. Inside, the cockpit features a HMI 8.4” touchscreen in the center console of the car, controlling all aspects of the car’s functions as well as managing full connectivity such as telephone calls, internet access, and including Apple CarPlay. Both inside and out, Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program provides unsurpassed options for color and trim personalization, allowing owners of the Huracán EVO RWD to impose their individual style and personality on their new Lamborghini driving machine. In order to emphasize the shape of the car the new color, Giallo Belenus (yellow), has been developed together with a dedicated leather and Alcantara color for the interior trim, matching the new exterior paint. The Huracan EVO RWD is expected to arrive in the Middle East in the second quarter of 2020.

Rated as one of the finest hotels in Pôrto de Petras in the heart of Brazil’s Alagoas Ecological Route, this 8-room hotel and 7 bungalows, resides beside an almost deserted beach devoid of man-made structures lined by coconut trees. This idyllic setting of virgin white sand leading to crystal-clear warm waters sets the tranquil vibe throughout Pedras do Patacho. And by using an abundance of natural elements such as stone and wood in the rooms, bathrooms, walkways and private pools, there’s a blurred line of where the environment begins and the pousada ends. The goal of the project was to create a remarkable architecture and spatially relevant, capable of impacting and providing an experience that can be kept in the guests’ memory for the rest of their lives.
143
Behind the great walls there are the bungalows. Every unit has an ocean view and, considering the premise of guaranteeing a full privacy and exclusivity to the guest, they have developed a bungalow that has, on its roof, a private pool with an exclusive landscape to each unit, where it is possible to enjoy the pleasure of relaxing in the calm atmosphere of the Patacho Beach, with an unique view. The use of rustic and timeless materials, explored in the whole hotel route, inside the bungalows, restaurant and common areas provide the enterprise a minimalist and contemporaneous atmosphere. Stylish elements were incorporated to the landscape that surrounds the Hotel: coatings such as stones, wood and corten steel compose the structure along with items such as metal sheets and glass, bringing a unique architectural identity.

The corten steel also gives the name to the restaurant, entirely externally coated with the material. The volume, raised on pilotis, gives the impression of floating above the common pool, providing a panoramic view of Patacho Beach. Inside, there is polished concrete as flooring, rebars closing the stairs, ceiling in wood strips and walls with metal screens (the ones that are used as the concrete armor) that contrasts with the huge orange block that highlights itself on the landscape.
