Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], introduces the Spring 2022 “Make Your Move” brand campaign, featuring Grammy-winning, Golden Globe and Emmy nominated performer Anthony Ramos. The campaign is a vibrant clash of modern prep styles from the Spring 2022 TOMMY HILFIGER collection with Anthony’s world of music and pop culture, resulting in a fresh take on iconic pieces. The global campaign will go live on all Tommy Hilfiger social channels on March 15, 2022, as well as in select TOMMY HILFIGER flagship stores, which will be transformed to further amplify the campaign. The storefronts will feature a QR code that activates augmented-reality mannequins on Instagram, showcasing dance moves and inviting fans to take a photo with them and share on their social channels. Adding a different dimension to the campaign, a #MoveWithTommy TikTok activation will take place in April, where fans and friends of the brand can give their interpretation of Modern Prep to the soundtrack of “Stand Up” by Grammy-nominated American rapper Ludacris. The song “Stand Up” will be featured on all video assets with sound throughout the Spring campaign as well as on dedicated social activations and across the brand’s digital advertising platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat.

The minimalism is in the silhouettes; super polished and reminiscent of the 90s. The maximalism is in the colors; they feature a very strong palette including tones of chocolate, coral, fuchsia, purple, tangerine, and lime to characterise the looks. Together they form a beautiful union. However, both minimalism and maximalism are expressed in the combination of the materials using jacquard with animal-like graphics, paired with knit tops enriched by Swarovski crystals combined with textiles reminiscent of liquid mercury falling downwards. Creative Director Veronica Etro brings the ETRO ethos into contact with the elements: the concrete jungle and the wild landscape. The collection draws on the notion of breaking patterns and embracing the outdoors. The result is a collection that is an unfiltered expression - paisleys are blown up to the point of total abstraction, tapestry textures are translated into brilliant monochromes and patterns are augmented. The power of the random act: FW22 takes the form of multiple actions that embed the fashion bit into popular culture, taking back elements from popular culture in return. Fashion is impersonation and transformation. FW22 features only one protagonist, the actress Hari Nef, performing different characters as she brings to life the collection in both cinematic and photographic form. A fantasy of unabashed fun, glitter and sparkle unfolds with a feisty spirit. Party things are taken and literally turned into clothing. Chandelier earrings and chandelier tops. Inflated balloon tops. Deflated balloon tops. Balloon and fringed trousers. Balloons printed on silk and metallic fabric. 1Run Hany tracksuits and tops. 2Carrie hoodies and trousers. Perfecto jackets. Trousers with trains. Sequined dresses. Run Hany, again, on bags; sandals with straps padded as balloons. A world of fragments and archetypes, and a play on obviousness that twists things around. A play on cult elements of popular culture, too. The images are the first action. Shot by Juergen Teller, they feature Hari Nef interpreting different cinematic characters. A change of hairdo completely flips the persona, because a tamed or untamed mane is a wholly different way of being. In the faux documentary that is the second of the multiple actions, entitled Falling for Fall and directed by the filmmaker Loic Prigent, Hari Nef walks the spectators through the collection in the studio and the atelier where things are made. She falls rhythmically, getting up every time in a new self and a new do. Printed as billboards and mounted on vans, the images are then shot again by Juergen Teller on the streets of Milan, in the third and final action that makes them fickle yet highly visible parts of the urban landscape. Fashion that has culled elements from popular culture becomes itself a part of popular culture. The bohemian travellers of the Fall Winter 2022 collection are on a spiritual path to explore places unseen. After years of staying at home, gazing at the world outside with wanderlust, they travel with intentions of peace and love. They want their global community to live in harmony and they dress with the same attitude. These voyagers wear layers that offer protection, comfort, and reveal memories of their travels—like souvenirs collaged together. An earthy palette of natural hues, rust, amber, forest green, carmine red and bark brown offset the multi-layer silhouettes and the fabric textures of tech feel gum, lustrous leather to fuzzy mohair. Hidden stones glimmer in a long tunic tulle skirt of the first look, worn with a striped knit and oversized washed jeans. Outerwear wraps cosily around, gigantic vests and puffers—some cut from soft leather with felted-lined hoods. Sheer nylon pants show their down filling, and puffer nylon boots are made for walking softly over unchartered ground. A freewheeling spirit gives the collection a rosy glow: cords and velvets in loose pants, paired with printed blouses and hewn-cut stone necklaces. A devoré velvet dress with an ochre floral print is layered with pants and a long apricot shearling vest. Other dresses are cut from graphic print silks or in tulle appliquéd with embroidery and mini pompoms. Kilts in a patchwork of tartans are doubled up with Dsquared2 DNA of denim or a puffer. Knits in maxi stripes, or graphic patterns top mini leather or long check skirts. Another dress is topped with a high-cropped gum jacket. The line-up is worn with suede moccasins that lace-up to the knees or tech booties and sandals, and clogs for those travellers who have found somewhere relaxing to set their backpack down. Bags also come padded or in shearling, in organic, soft shapes such as a shirred shoulder and a mini duffle that fit snugly under the arm. Jewellery is collected on the way: beaded earrings, metal rings and bracelets featuring silver balls and bells. Jefferey Hutchison and Associates (JHA), the renowned New York-based fashion retail design firm, recently completed the Men's and Women's Luxury Fashion, Beauty, and Jewelry floors within the new Shinsegae Daejeon Art & Science department store, located in Expo-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. The newest Shinsegae Department Store becomes the largest regional landmark, and combines culture, art, and science in a futuristic shopping environment offering a variety of experiential content.

A Modern Italian Villa Reinterpreted The 62,500 sf main floor houses premier luxury accessory brands including Fendi, Bottega Veneta, and Saint Laurent, as well as jewelry and over 40 beauty brands such as Gucci Beauty and Clé de Peau Beauté. The design vision was to create a grand hall inspired by an early modern Italian Villa in the spirit of such great Italian architects as Luigi Moretti and Carlos Scarpa. To bring this to life, JHA reinterpreted classic design elements, such as vaulted ceilings, using bone-white plaster and custom decorative light pendants that highlight the circulation paths. The flooring reimagines an Italianate mosaic floor, but with a contemporary pattern using contra black and Veneto white marble slabs. www.theciin.com

A Contemporary Sculpture Park The 57,000 sf second floor showcases Men's and Women's Fashion Luxury Brands. The design was inspired by the sculptural works of Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, and the cubist works of George Braque. The modern women's luxury space includes Nairobi black marble flooring, and bone-white hand plaster sculptural elements on the walls, ceilings, and exaggerated columns to provide an intimate yet inviting shopping experience. A sculptural, contemporary environment was created for the men's area. Blonde Oak wrap the walls and the dimensional ceiling for a masculine feel, while sequoia brown marble tiles on the floor emphasize the asymmetrical patterns of the space.

Grecale strikes the right balance between versatility, elegance, performance and innovation, guaranteeing performance, comfort and safety, all at the same time. These features are combined with off-road capabilities and uncompromising driving pleasure. Developed at the Maserati Innovation Lab in Modena, the new SUV is produced at the Cassino plant. Grecale is a range within the range, the Trident brand’s fullest ever. An extremely wide range of engines is available: conventional internal combustion, hybrid and, in a year’s time, Grecale will also be the first full-electric SUV in Maserati history. Three versions will be rolled out at launch: GT, powered by a four-cylinder mild hybrid engine capable of delivering 300 hp; Modena, with a four-cylinder 330-hp mild hybrid engine; and the powerful Trofeo, equipped with a high-performance 3.0L 530-hp petrol V6 based on the Nettuno engine fitted to the MC20. 120 The new SUV stands out in terms of spaciousness and comfort, boasting an impressive set of “best-inclass” features. It is best-in-class in terms of interior space, driveability, handling, acceleration (0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds – on the Trofeo), top speed (285 km/h – again on the Trofeo), sound quality and extensive use of fine materials such as wood, carbon fibre and leather. Its dimensions are a major factor: in the GT version, Grecale is 4,846 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,901 mm, a height of 1,670 mm, a width of 2,163 mm (including wing mirrors), with a rear wheel track of 1,948 mm (and even greater in the Trofeo). The design of Grecale embraces Maserati’s new visual symbol, which distinguishes every new model since the MC20. The front features a low and imposing grille. The profile is notable for its contrast between purity and technique, with a highly fluid body featuring meandering, visual forms and its technical components highlighted by the use of carbon fibre. In the rear, the boomerang taillights are inspired by the Giugiaro 3200 GT and fit in with the trapezoidal line, made even more striking by the coupé effect of the cabin and its finish like a sports car's. Inside, in the cabin, the standout tech specs include the traditional Maserati clockface. Digital for the first time, it transforms into a veritable in-car concierge, courtesy of voice control. Everything becomes touch-based, with extreme aesthetic cleanliness. The technology is controlled from the displays: the large 12.3” central screen, the largest ever seen in a Maserati, another 8.8” display for the extra controls and a third for the passengers in the rear seats.

At C-Hotel & Spa on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, a warm amber and yellow lighting design by Mario Nanni sets the tone for a welcoming environment. An outdoor relaxation pool and saline pool with countercurrent swimming are paired with indoor features including a thermal pool with an aeromassage system, a Turkish bath, invigorating waterfall, relaxation zone, and solarium. The spirit of detox is furthered at the in-house restaurant Materia Prima, where all (semi-)processed products are strictly off-limits and everything from bread to desserts is made fresh daily. Further east, in Vals, Italy, Silena, the soulful hotel boasts a sky-high Alpine setting with South Tyrolean culinary delights and a world of wellness accented with Southeast Asian touches.
