Welcome to The City Academy, Hackney Since opening in 2009 we have achieved two ‘Outstanding’ grades from Ofsted (January 2011 and January 2012). Our inspiring building won the Hackney Design Award 2010 and features annually in the Open House London, architectural tours.
Visits and guided tours We recognise that our award-winning building and facilities are attracting a lot of attention because of its unique design and appreciate that many people will want to come and see it for themselves. However, this is a working environment with limited ‘out of hours’ accessibility. We regret that we do need to levy a charge for giving tours of the building. Please see the charging table below for details and contact Natalie David, PA to the Principal for further information or to arrange a visit. 1 to 3 people

Only areas that have been booked are to be accessed. There is no freedom of movement around the Academy. If terms and conditions are broken, Academy staff or their appointed contractors may cancel the hiring and ask the hirer to leave.
