Our goal at CCISD is to add to that history while providing a quality education in a safe, supportive environment where student success in paramount. We want to encourage, empower, and equip all students to achieve their full potential. We are proud of our Bronco basketball team, which won the UIL Class 2A State Championship for the first time in school history in 2021! We also celebrate the Bronco Band, which advanced to the UIL Area Marching Contest this year and the CHS
One Act Play for advancing to the UIL Bi-District Competition with their performance of "The Shadow Box." We have upgraded technology in each classroom throughout the district with Promethean ActivPanels that enhances connectivity and the learning experience for all Clarendon CISD students.
Our district strives to provide the best educational experiences and opportunities for every student through high quality instruction and a wide variety of opportunities for students to get involved and enhance their leadership skills. What’s New: Two grants are currently helping improve CCISD. The MIZ Grant (Math Innovation Zone) is intended to improve math scores and instruction through the implementation of blended learning. This school year, the Kindergarten, 3rd, & 6th grades are participating to be joined by the 1st, 4th, and 7th, then 2nd, 5th, & 8th in successive years. The READ Grant seeks to improve and enhance 2nd, 3rd, and 5th reading education; teaching new ELAR TEKS and effective instructional techniques & strategies. Everyday CCISD staff is working to prepare our students for life after a high school diploma.
