Overview of Your Assessments

Disclaimer – Student Responsibility The assessments must currently be submitted online in Moodle. Please note it is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the submission of their assessment has been received. The Coaching Institute cannot be held responsible for not receiving the assessment. Once you have completed your assessment, please upload your assessments with attachments at members.thecoachinginstitute.com.au, login with your personal username and password.

Assistance Throughout your chosen study path, classes are held for you on how to achieve competence in your assessments. There are also recordings of how to approach assessments made available on Moodle as part of your course content. It’s recommended you review these recordings and/or attend the live classes as part of your approach to your studies.

Due Date The assessments are due to be submitted within the due dates outlined in this Study Guide and in each of the assessments. If the student is still found to be Not Yet Competent, the student can resubmit their assessment one other time, once the ‘Resubmission Fee’ is paid in full. This fee is as per your Student Handbook. Further submissions are at the discretion of the assessor, in consultation with the student and mentors. If further submissions occur, all resubmission fees must be paid by the student in advance in full.

ICG Core Competencies Skills & Knowledge Matrix

ICG CORE COMPETENCIES SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE MATRIX Within The International Coach Guild 15 Core Competencies, there are different levels of competence required, depending on the level of study the student is participating in.

There are a standard 15 Core Competencies. Each of the four levels of the ICG requires different levels of mastery of the 15 Core Competencies. ICG CORE COACHING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE MATRIX The ICG Core Coaching Skills and Knowledge Matrix unpacks the levels of competency of the ICG Core Competencies, and gives coaches and ICG recognised schools the benchmarks of excellence for each Core Competency. There are 3 Levels of Benchmark for each Core Competency: 1. Knowledge: the theoretical knowledge and understanding that ICG Recognised Coaches must be able to demonstrate. 2. Applied Knowledge: the practical knowledge that ICG Recognised Coaches must be able to apply in hypothetical or actual contexts. 3. Application of Skills: the skills that ICG Recognised Coaches must be able to demonstrate in practical scenarios. At each level of ICG Recognition, the coach will be required to show all three Levels of Benchmark, for each Core Competency, at a new level of Excellence and Mastery. As the coach transitions through the levels, new subtleties and nuances are introduced to each sub-Competency, and it is the coach’s responsibility to ensure they are demonstrating and applying the new Benchmark. For a Coach Training Program to be ICG Recognised, all Competencies must be assessed at the Level of Benchmark identified in this Core Coaching Skills and Knowledge Matrix. The ICG Recognised School must provide the Matrix to all students for reference.

How to Earn Back Your Course Fees System

HOW TO EARN BACK YOUR COURSE FEES SYSTEM The Coaching Institute is the ONLY coaching training provider IN THE WORLD to provide a full Success Guarantee… and we take this seriously.

The Guarantee:

If, as a result of following our system and graduating on time, you don’t earn back your entire investment in your chosen course, TCI will cheerfully refund your coaching fees and you can keep all the materials.

Why do we do this? We want you to know: 1. What you’re learning works 2. We provide enough business training that even someone with no business experience can succeed 3. We are completely confident of what we teach and how we teach it 4. No other coaching school is prepared to make this claim 5. You have to use the system for the system to work! This Study Guide provides a step by step system for you to follow to achieve earning back your course fees. Please be aware that we take this promise very seriously. You, the student, is required to take action – the prescribed action – for this guarantee to be in effect. If the student doesn’t take the action as prescribed, the guarantee is voided. This includes working through this Study Guide, working through and completing all action items in the Ultimate Business Success Guide for TCI Coaches (and being able to show evidence of having completed both), and graduating from your program on time. Please note (we are often asked), no one has ever claimed back their course fees. Either the student doesn’t use the system, or they earn back their course fees. Where you see anything in these colours:

How to Earn Back Your Course Fees System

Important

1. Upload your goals that you intend to achieve from this program into Moodle

This is a requirement for the guaranteed system, on top of the regular study requirements outlined in this Study Guide. In your Practitioner area of Moodle, in Module 12, you will find a series of Submission Portals for submitting the required evidence of each Month’s activities, to qualify for the Earn Your Course Fees Back Guarantee. There is an Activate Your Guarantee Submission Area, to submit the Agreement on the next page that activates the Guarantee for you.

After that, each month has a series of activities: Important

2. Upload your goals that you intend to achieve from this program into Moodle

In this area, for each Month, is a series of activities. In Module 12 of your Practitioner area of Moodle, there is also a Month-by-Month list of submission portals, to submit the evidence of completing each point, so you qualify  If you have any questions about how to do this… contact the Wow Team!

How to Earn Back Your Course Fees System

Please Send This Back to Us Within One Month of Your Foundations of Coaching Success As a result of utilising our business systems, and graduating on time, if you don’t earn back your entire course investment within 18 months, we will cheerfully refund your fees and you get to keep all the materials, with our best wishes! This guarantee is very real, and requires you, the coach, to utilise the system provided here. It’s not a guarantee that by simply being in the program you will succeed. Any and all success take actual effort on the part of the person who wants the success. Please complete this form and upload it into the Earn Your Course Fees Module of Moodle, under “Activate Your Earn Your Course Fees Back System Here” when we receive it is the day you want to activate the success guarantee, and 18 months from now we want to hear about your success! Please note, there is a requirement that you do things that are laid out in this system, including completing everything that relates to your chosen course, all action items in purple, the Ultimate Business Success Guide for TCI Coaches and graduating on time. That makes good sense, yes? So here is a step by step guide of what to do and when to ensure that you achieve this! I, _____________________________________, agree to utilise the resources I’m provided by TCI to ensure I achieve the goal of earning back more than my course fees within the first 18 months of my enrolment (or the day I send this form back; it’s whenever I begin actively utilising the system). If I do not utilise the resources, and/or cannot provide evidence that I have followed the steps provided, or graduated on time, I cannot, if I don’t earn the required fees, then claim a refund from TCI. I know and appreciate that this is about my efforts and it’s up to me to make this work. I agree I understand I must take action to succeed.

Delivery of the Live Classes

DELIVERY OF THE LIVE CLASSES TCI delivers MANY classes throughout the year. The schedule is on Moodle…

We deliver a month of Coaching Skills Classes. Then we deliver a month of Business Skills Classes. Except when a new sequence commences. Then we deliver two months of Coaching Skills Classes. The point of telling you this? Your Study Guide is written for ANY student to be able to utilise, regardless of which month they join. Which means some students join on a Coaching Skills month. And some join on a Business Skills month. Whenever YOU join, is absolutely terrific. Just adjust what you will do that month based on which Classes you’ve arrived at. I’ve written this assuming you will want to get into both streams… Coaching Skills and Business Skills… as soon as possible. You can. If you arrive during a Coaching Skills Stream month, attend the classes on Coaching Skills, and go online and study the related classes, AND study the Business Skills content we’ve provided, as well.

APPENDIX III

APPENDIX III RECORDING WITH FREE CONFERENCE CALL (Triads & Coaching Sessions)

It’s important to give ourselves feedback without interrupting presence within a coaching session. You will also need to record numerous coaching sessions for your assessment. Recording the session is a great way to review our questioning models and delivery. The recording of a session also makes a great gift for someone to relive how they worked their way through a particular challenge and to recap the actions they committed to themselves. Recording through free conference call is a great way to save the session in order to listen to it at a later date and have it saved for your assessment.  To have the ability to record a call with free conference call we must first sign up and create an account before time.  Once we have created an account we will be given a ‘host’ phone number and pin & a ‘guest’ phone number and pin – these will be different  Come the time that we have arranged to be on the call with our client we use the host phone number and pin & the guests use their phone number and pin to access the same conference/ group call.  During the free live conference, the host can start recording at any time by pressing *9.  *A prompt will announce that recording has been activated.  The recording can be stopped by pressing * 9 or hanging up from the call.  The recording is then saved in the online account of the ‘host’ on freeconferencecall.com  To access the recording of your session, log in to freeconferencecall.com and click the ‘recordings’ tab highlighted in blue at the top of the screen.

Recording with Free Conference Call

Troubleshooting Free Conference Call always has a voice prompt when it is beginning or ending a recording. If you have not heard this voice prompt it has not picked up the *9 that you entered. Sometimes Free Conference Call will drop out during the call that you are recording- In this is case the recording will end. When you call back in to the conference call you will have to press *9 once more and await the voice prompt to start a new recording. These will save as 2 separate files in your account on the Free Conference Call website.

APPENDIX IV HOW TO RECORD A COACHING SESSION Android

In prepping for submitting your assessments, it is important to set yourself up for success when recording your coaching sessions.
