CREATIVE AGEING & ADULT PARTICIPATION

JANUARY - APRIL 2019

With 43 members running sessions across Herefordshire, Creative Community Champions (CCC) has become Creative Ageing’s latest runaway success! CCC provides creative toolkits and teaches group leaders new artistic skills so that they can run their own creative sessions with older people in their community. We have 25 toolkits ranging from monoprinting and linocut to metal work, and weaving. Are you part of a community group that would like to get involved? For the group to be involved in the project the participants must be predominantly over 55 years old, but otherwise we are looking for champions from anywhere across Herefordshire. We hold regular coffee mornings for champions to try new creative kits, share information, and for potential champions to come along and find out more. Check our upcoming dates inside.
