Stone paints a faithful portrait of the world’s most famous spy, presenting Snowden as a quiet, patriotic, Bush-supporting geek who very reluctantly came to believe that what he was doing was wrong. Like some real world James Bond film this plays out in underground bunkers and spy stations across the world.
