Then, as if giving body to an echo, the murmured notes of Moonlight Serenade… and the night, it seems, is suddenly full and timeless. MAY-WE-GO-ROUND? May-We-Go-Round? is a collision of fiercely energetic dance and comedic theatre. Chess recently discovered her diary from the age of 10, devoted entirely to the detailed records of her many loves. Years later, the ones we lust after still take a disproportionately large chunk of our talking time and mental space (even if we don’t like to admit it!). We find ourselves on the jangly merry go round of romance. We are enthralled by romantic experiences yet flummoxed and irritated by the whole thing. Are we enjoying it? Yes. Does it make sense? No. But round and round we go... £10

WRITTEN BY WILLY RUSSELL STARRING BERNADETTE FEENEY Internationally acclaimed Performances in Canada & Australia
Inside Mrs. Bradshaw, a 42 year-old mother of two grown children, is the former Shirley Valentine longing to get out. Her hope and self-confidence badly shattered by a stale and unfulfilling marriage and an unimaginative life in Liverpool, she is reduced to talking to the kitchen wall whilst preparing her husband’s tea. As she sips a glass of wine, she dreams a different sort of existence where she can drink wine in the country where the grape is grown. This is Willy Russell’s insightful exploration of marriage in a working class society. It is an evening of entertainment that will not only have you crying with laughter but weeping tears of sympathy for Shirley Valentine. TICKETS £21, CONCESSIONS £19
