Me and Me Dad
Dave Lees’ dad Pete is the sort of bloke who needs a recipe for toast. The kind of guy who thinks that tortilla fought King Kong and that Tiramisu played midfield for Brazil in the 1974 World Cup. In a word, he’s terrible. Good at Subbuteo; hopeless with spaghetti. So when Jean, Dave’s mum, dies, Dave does the decent thing – he puts his failing acting career on hold and moves back home to teach his dad how to cook. Fighting memories (and occasionally each other) and risking the sanity of relatives and neighbours, not to mention Dave’s girlfriend!

The Adventures of Sancho panza
Meet Sancho Panza. A son, grieving for his father, lonely in his thoughts. Until one day, as he remembers stories his dad used to tell him about Don Quixote, the comically idealistic knight himself bursts into his world and takes him on an adventure… The Adventures of Sancho Panza is a boisterous, contemporary adaptation of Cervantes’ classic tale ‘Don Quixote’, retold through the eyes of Quixote’s companion Sancho Panza. In a world that blurs real life and fiction, this unlikely duo meet dukes and barbers, robbers, giants and even the old lady from next door, on a journey of surprising discovery for Sancho.
Along with acclaimed guitarist Nicholas Quemener (France), the quartet combines their talents, musical traditions, and spontaneous humour for an evening of dazzling energy and subtle grace. Fast-moving, inventive and highly entertaining, Teechers is John Godber’s brilliant take on life at a modern Comprehensive. Through their hilarious end-of-term play, three Year 11s exuberantly sketch the new drama teacher’s progress through two terms of unruly classes, cynical colleagues and obstructive caretakers. Disillusioned, he departs for the safe waters of a private school, and leaves behind his students, whose youthful irreverence gives way to despair.

Steve Brooks
Drawings and paintings Local artist Steve Brooks’ work explore the relationships and slippages between sight and knowledge of the landscape, and how other fields of knowledge explain and describe the same. Approaching a small area of the Herefordshire landscape, through direct observational paintings and drawings, and using cartographic, historical and material sources, the work gives an informed and wide-ranging perspective on a what is at first sight, a familiar landscape.
Laura Lunn and Sarah Maskrey Oil and acrylic paintings
Both based in Knighton, Laura Lunn and Sarah Maskrey, have very different approaches to their work. Sarah’s oil paintings are about capturing a person or an animal and Laura’s acrylic work explores the imagined narratives in busy architectural landscapes.

beth Gareth Richardson Evans This exhibition by Beth Richardson incorporates paintings made in response to the nature and physicality of distinctive, found, everyday objects that have ceased to function in their normal way. Beth is drawn particularly to objects which have a strong visual history.
Painter and illustrator Gareth Evans is interested in people and their environment, the transient, and the beauty that can be found in the everyday. Gareth works with oil and acrylic paint on a variety of surfaces and found objects acquired by chance, in a process which reflects the concerns in his work.
