Come along to this warmup show and decide for yourself. Expect it to be shorter and with lower production values than Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, but funnier and with more references to tea.

CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF GREEN SUCCESS

In 2019 we implemented an ambitious environmental plan to commit to bringing our energy impact down from 164 tonnes CO2e to 100 tonnes CO2e by 2024. With 5 years’ worth of investments in onsite renewable energy, energy audits, energyefficient capital, and operational changes, along with help from industry experts, we are delighted to announce that we are set to reach our target this quarter!

With further assistance from Pilio and Julies Bicycle, we have road-mapped our next 5-year carbon budget for energy to meet our long-term climate goals of becoming a flagship, net zero arts organisation representing Herefordshire on the national stage.

To achieve these goals we have launched our Give The Green Light Campaign to help us save another 9 tonnes of CO2e per annum from 2025 and we have already signed a letter of support for a low-carbon heat network in the city to connect in 2027.

FOR A GREENER FUTURE!

Thanks to your incredible generosity and support from grants, we’ve already raised an amazing £261,000 towards our LED stage lighting project. But we’re not quite there yet – we still need to raise £100,000 to reach our goal of £361,000 and bring this dream to life by August 2025.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

We’ll slash our carbon footprint by 9,000kg of CO2 every year – that’s like planting a small forest!

We’ll save/raise £13,000 annually, allowing us to pour more resources into our community outreach and education programmes.

Most importantly, we’ll be taking a giant leap towards our commitment to reach net zero carbon by 2035.

Scan to give!

Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Imagine being part of this transformative moment! Here’s how you can help:

Make a personal donation – every pound counts! Spread the word to businesses or community organisations you know.

‘Purchase’ an LED light and receive a 10-year recognition plaque in our Main House as a thank you.

Consider a group donation with friends or colleagues.

By supporting our Give The Green Light Appeal, you’re not just helping a theatre – you’re investing in a sustainable future for our community. Together, we can ensure The Courtyard continues to be a beacon of creativity, education, and joy for generations to come. Let’s light up the stage and brighten our future – give today and help us reach for the stars!
