When a multimedia conglomerate buys out North Norfolk Digital it sets in motion a hilarious chain of events that sees Alan being taken hostage while trying to defuse a potentially violent siege. What Masie Knew (15) A touching, contemporary reimagining of Henry James’ unforgiving examination of the effects of divorce, this finds something sadly timeless in the tale of a child torn apart in a battle that no one wins, least of all the child.

Set in 1943 in a small market town in occupied France, this tells the story of an 80-year-old sculptor, the jaded, cynical Marc who is rejuvenated by his relationship with a destitute young Spanish refugee.

Chasing Ice (PG)

When a guard befriends a visitor seeking refuge, the beautiful museum where he works becomes a mysterious crossroads that sparks explorations of their lives, the city, and the many ways looking at art recasts the way we see the world.

A phenomenal, passionate, unpreachy documentary that uses time-lapse photography to provide crazily beautiful evidence of man-made climate change and the rapid retreat of the world’s glaciers. There will be a discussion on the topics raised in the film afterwards. See www.herefordshirenewleaf.org.uk for more information. Planes (U)

A heart-warming animated tale about friendship, honour and courage, this promises nail biting adventure, oodles of magic, heaps of fun - oh, and a flame throwing toothless crocodile.

Dusty is a crop-dusting plane who dreams of competing in a famous aerial race. The only problem is that he’s hopelessly afraid of heights! Like an aerial Cars, Pixar’s latest is bound to entertain the kids with its thrills & spills and fun characters.
