This novel comes from the author better known for his private detective series featuring Myron Bolitar. This novel couldn't be more different and fans of the author may find it a shock. It is very different. It is much more a psychological twisting turning novel with the hero never quite sure who he can trust and often not knowing what is going on. Coben ramps of the suspense really well, keeps you guessing and wanting to embark on the journey with the hero to find out what happened. It is also a touching story about a man who has failed to come to terms with the end of his relationship and who will do anything to find the one woman he knows is his true love. If there was such a thing as romance novels for men then this would come pretty close. ______________________________________________________
