Now, with Seabourn, you may savour a new era of ultra-luxury expedition travel. Elevated to a higher level. Combining authentic, exhilarating adventures in remote destinations… with the uncompromising, sophisticated amenities of the world’s finest resorts at sea.
We began offering expedition experiences during our first sailing to Antarctica in 2013 led by a highly qualified, worldclass expedition team, and those itineraries have been offered almost every season since. This success opened the door for our ‘Ventures by Seabourn’ programme, featuring Zodiacs, kayaks, and guided hikes to enhance destinations such as Alaska, Australia & New Zealand, South America, Norway and Greenland.
Having entered service in July 2022, Seabourn Venture represents a new era in expedition cruising, designed for those whose appetite for unique experiences is matched by a taste for ultra-luxury amenities. With just 132 luxurious ocean-front suites onboard, guests will explore the world’s most exquisite destinations in Seabourn’s incomparable elegance and ease.
A sister ship Seabourn Pursuit arrived in 2023.
Designed and built for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards, both ships feature a new innovative design, incorporating many features that have made Seabourn ships so successful. Two custom-built, 6-seater submarines provide an unforgettable view of the world beneath the ocean’s surface, a complement of kayaks and 24 Zodiacs can accommodate all guests at once, allowing for a truly immersive experience… all alongside a crew that includes an outstanding and well-travelled expedition team comprised of highly regarded wilderness experts, scientists, historians and naturalists.
Seabourn Venture’s 2025 and 2026 seasons include expeditions to the Arctic, Antarctica and the Amazon where you may cruise in Zodiacs under teeming bird cliffs and along jungle rivers, kayak among stately icebergs and tropical coral islands. Visit Viking ruins, ancient Inca sites and remote villages. View whales, walrus and seals up close and cruise in submarines past vivid reef walls and towering underwater ice cliffs. Snorkel unspoilt tropical coral gardens glittering with iridescent fish, trek to earth-shaking waterfalls and shining blue-white glaciers.
Seabourn Pursuit winters in Antarctica, then voyages to the remote islands and atolls of the Pacific before summering in Australia’s spectacular and rarely visited Kimberley region.

In the Frontier Amazon, our ship passes near to the forest where there is less frequent evidence of human population. In the Peruvian Amazon encounter indigenous populations and discover age-old human traditions surviving unaltered by the outside world.
Travelling by zodiac with the Expedition Team, you will learn how the rise and fall of the river relates to the rise and fall of fortunes. Watch for evidence of how the local people deal with their sometimes-inhospitable environment. Also possible are wildlife encounters including sloths, howler monkeys, birds and squirrel monkeys.
