Walmart Supercenter at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Bullard Avenue in New Orleans, LA at a site formerly occupied by Lakeland Medical Center. The store is slated to open during fall 2013. The company also plans to open a Walmart store in a former Gottschalk’s at Bayshore Mall, located in Eureka, CA. The store, which will feature a pharmacy and offer non-perishable groceries, is slated to open during the middle of the year. The company currently operates more than 9,000 locations nationwide and internationally throughout 15 countries, including nearly 3,000 Walmart Supercenter locations and 160 Walmart Market stores. Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. (781-737-3000), through franchisees, will open two BaskinRobbins ice cream shops in Chula Vista, CA. Planned openings include a location in the Eastlake area of the city slated for April, with a second location in the city to follow during 2013. The company currently operates 9,700 Dunkin’ Donuts locations nationwide and internationally throughout 31 countries, and 6,400 Baskin-Robbins locations nationwide and internationally. Nordstrom, Inc. (206-628-2111) will open a 34,000 sq.ft. Nordstrom Rack at Edinger Plaza, located off Interstate 405 in Huntington Beach, CA. The store is slated to open during the fall, will be the company’s fifth in Orange County, CA and will join Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels and PetSmart at the center. The company currently operates 225 locations nationwide throughout 30 states, including 117 full-line Nordstrom stores, 104 Nordstrom Rack locations, two Jeffrey boutiques, one treasure&bond location and one clearance store.
hhgregg, Inc. (317-848-8710) will open a 37,000 sq.ft. hhgregg store in part of a former Marshalls at a center located at the intersection of West Brown Deer Road and North Green Bay Avenue in Brown Deer, WI. The store is slated to open during the third quarter of this year. The company will also open a 40,000 sq.ft. store in a former Circuit City along South 76th Street in Greenfield, WI during the spring. The chain of electronics stores operates 208 locations throughout AL, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MD, MS, NJ, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN and VA.
Market Basket, Inc. (978-851-8000) plans to open a 60,000 sq.ft. Market Basket supermarket at Cornerstone Square, a center currently under construction along Interstate 495 in Westford, MA. The store will anchor the center and will join Burton’s Grill, Panera Bread and Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries when it opens during the fall. The company currently operates 64 locations throughout MA and NH.
Costco Wholesale Corp. (425-313-8100) plans to open a 145,000 sq.ft. Costco wholesale club in a former Dillard’s at Westfield Sarasota Square, located in Sarasota, FL. The store is slated to open during the summer. The company currently operates 600 locations throughout 40 states nationwide, as well as internationally.

The store is slated to open during the spring and will join REI at the center.
