Walmart Neighborhood Market at the site of a former Westwood Apple Market along Mission Road in Kansas City, MO during the fall. The company is also planning to open a 180,000 sq.ft. Walmart situated on 30 acres along Holly Springs Parkway near Interstate 575 in Holly Springs, GA during 2014, and will feature a gasoline facility and additional retailers. The company is also slated to open a 150,000 sq.ft. Walmart at the site of a former Pov’s Sports Bar situated on 19.69 acres along Bunker Lake Boulevard Northwest in Andover, MN during 2014, along with plans to open a 170,000 sq.ft. Walmart Supercenter situated on 18.5 acres at the intersection of 75th Street and Beebe Drive in Naperville, IL during spring 2014. The company is also planning to open Walmart Express stores throughout Four Oaks and Benson, NC next month. The new concept stores range in size from 12,000 sq.ft. to 15,000 sq.ft. and include a pharmacy. The company is also planning to open a Walmark Neighborhood Market in a former WinnDixie in Boynton Beach, FL and planning to open or expand 18 locations throughout southern FL by spring 2014. The company is also planning to open two locations in Des Moines, IA this fall, including a store at Second Avenue and Euclid Avenue and a store along Southwest 14th Street. The company, offering healthcare products, beauty products, drinks and snacks, currently operates 7,300 locations nationwide, including 14 stores in IA. Five Below, Inc. (215-546-7909) is planning to open a Five Below store at Rio Hill Shopping Center, a 288,500 sq.ft. shopping center located in Rio Hill, VA. The company will join Simple Comforts and Rack Room Shoes at the center. The company, offering crafts, media, sports and seasonal items, all priced at or below $5, currently operates 240 locations along the east coast from NH to GA, including 20 locations in VA. Whole Foods Market, Inc. (512-477-4455) is planning to open a 30,500 sq.ft. Whole Foods Market at the intersection of 10th Street and Gilman Street in the Gilman District section of Berkeley, CA. The specialty grocery store is slated to open during 2014. The company is also slated to open a 36,200 sq.ft. Whole Foods Market at the intersection of Settler’s Trace Boulevard and Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, LA during September 2014. It will be the company’s first location in the city. The company is also planning to open a 47,000 sq.ft. Whole Foods Market in a former Genuardi’s at Ellisburg Circle Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Route 70 and Kings Highway in Cherry Hill, NJ during spring 2014, along with a 25,000 sq.ft. location in a former Robert’s Fresh Market at the intersection of North Broad Street and Bienville Street in New Orleans, LA during December. The chain, offering organic and natural food items, currently operates more than 342 specialty supermarkets nationwide, as well as in Canada and the United Kingdom. Dollar General Corp. (615-855-4000) is opening a Dollar General store situated on 3.01 acres located at the intersection of Highway 99 and Commerce Drive in Le Center, MN. The company is also slated to open a 7,200 sq.ft. store off Elmont Road/ Highway 185 in Sullivan, MO. It will be the company’s second location in the area. The company, based in Goodlettsville, TN, has plans to open 635 stores and remodel 550 locations and offers health, beauty, home and cleaning products, apparel for men, women and children, toys, office and school supplies, and seasonal items, while currently operating 10,000 locations nationwide. Bass Pro Shops, Inc. (417-873-5000) is planning to open a 145,000 sq.ft. Bass Pro Shop store at Almaden Ranch, a 350,000 sq.ft. shopping center located near the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Highway 85 in San Jose, CA. The store will feature an Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill restaurant, is slated to open during 2015, and will be the company’s third location in CA. The company, offering, hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, currently operates 77 locations throughout 26 states nationwide, as well as Canada. Redner’s Markets, Inc. (610-926-3700) is slated to open a 48,500 sq.ft. Redner’s Market supermarket at Shops at College Park, a 120,000 sq.ft. shopping center located at the intersection of North Dupont Boulevard and CollegePark Lane in Georgetown, DE. It will be the company’s fifth location in the state.

Cabela’s, Inc. (308-254-5505) is planning to open a 42,000 sq.ft. Cabela’s Outpost store at Central Texas Marketplace, located along Interstate 35 in Waco, TX during 2014. It will be the company’s fourth location in the state, with other stores located in Ft. Worth, Buda and Allen. The company, offering hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, boating and other outdoor-related equipment, apparel and gear, currently operates more than 40 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Tilly’s (949-609-5599) is opening a store at White Oaks Mall, located in Springfield, IL, during the spring joining LA Fitness, Dick’s Sporting Goods, White Oaks Cinema and Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries at the center. The company, offering sports apparel and accessories for men and women, currently operates 168 locations throughout 28 states nationwide. Corner Bakery Café (972-619-4100) is planning to open 16 restaurants throughout six counties in the greater New York, NY area, with the first location opening during 2013 and the remaining sites over the next six years. The company, offering sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts, currently operates 147 company-owned and franchised locations, throughout 14 states nationwide, as well as in Washington, DC. The Kroger Co. (513-762-4000) is planning to open a 65,000 sq.ft. Kroger supermarket, located along Euclid Avenue in Lexington, KY. The grocery store will feature a sushi bar, a specialty cheese shop and a drive-thru pharmacy and is slated to open during fall 2014. Sam’s West, Inc.
