Who’s Opening and Where Wakefein Food Corp. (732-462-4700) plans to open a ShopRite supermarket, located along Central Avenue in Colonie, NY. It will be the company’s fourth location in the area and is slated to open during spring 2013 or later. Scheels All Sports, Inc. (701-232-3665) plans to expand a Scheels store in Sioux Falls, SD from 100,000 sq.ft. to 200,000 sq.ft. by the fall of 2014. The expansion will include a restaurant, bowling alley and Ferris Wheel and will make the location the fourth largest Scheels in the chain.

Five Below, Inc. (215-546-7909) recently opened four Five Below stores throughout the greater St. Louis, MO market, including locations at Chester Commons along THF Boulevard in Chesterfield; Central Plaza along Manchester Road in Ballwin; The Promenade at Brentwood located along Brentwood Promenade Court in Brentwood and Lincoln Place Centre, located along North Illinois Street in Fairview Heights. The chain, offering merchandise aimed at teens and preteens and priced between $1 and $5, including fashion accessories, DVDs, video games and accessories, sport and workout gear, games and toys, cosmetics, school supplies, crafts and seasonal items, operates 192 locations in 16 states and plans to open 50 stores this year.

OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC (813-282-1225) plans to open two Bonefish Grill restaurants by the end of the year including a 7,800 sq.ft. restaurant at the Annapolis Town Centre, located in Annapolis, MD and a 7,500 sq.ft. restaurant at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, a center located along Route 3 in West Anne Arundel County, MD. The Annapolis location will join The Chop House, P.F. Chang’s and Brio Tuscan Grille at the site. This will bring the chain’s count to three locations in the area. The company trades as Bonefish Grill, Outback Steakhouse and Carraba’s Italian Grill. Giant Eagle, Inc. (412-963-6200) plans to open a 92,000 sq.ft. Giant Eagle supermarket at Grandview Yard, located along Third Avenue in Grandviw, OH late next year. The company recently opened an 83,000 sq.ft. environmentally friendly supermarket format with a solar roof and skylights in Broadview Heights, OH.

Cabela’s, Inc. (308-254-5505) plans to open a 110,000 sq.ft. Cabela’s store at RidgeGate Commons located along Interstate 25 in Lone Tree, CO and a 90,000 sq.ft. store at the intersection of Interstate 25 and 144th Avenue in Thornton, CO. Both locations are slated to open during 2013. The company operates 34 stores, offering hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, boating and other outdoor-related equipment, apparel and gear, as well as gifts and furnishings, nationwide and in Canada.

Eastern Mountain Sports, Inc. (603-9249571) is planning to open an Eastern Mountain Sports store at the Shops at Marcus Dairy, located along Sugar Hollow Road in Danbury, CT. The store will join a future Whole Foods, Panera Bread and Petco at the site and is slated to open during fall 2013.

Target Corp. (612-304-6073) plans to open a 135,000 sq.ft. Target store at the intersection of Highway 50 and Glenridge Road in Glennville, NY. The store will be the company’s second location in Schenectady County and is slated to open this fall. The company currently operates more than 1,700 locations nationwide throughout 49 states.

Bass Pro Shops, Inc. (417-873-5000) plans to open a 117,000 sq.ft. Bass Pro Shop situated on 19 acres at the intersection of Copper Ridge and Northgate in Colorado Springs, CO. The store will feature a gift and nature center, an Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill with a 12-lane bowling alley. Opening is slated for next summer.

Thorntons, Inc. (866-473-0017) is planning to open a Thorntons in Clearwater, FL as part of the company’s plan to open 15 to 20 convenience stores in the Clearwater/ St. Petersburg and Tampa, FL areas over the next three years. The store is slated to open during spring 2013. The company currently operates locations in six states.

Hennes & Mauritz AB (212-564-9922) plans to open an H&M store at Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville, GA during the last quarter of 2012. The location will be the company’s sixth in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. The company currently operates 2,500 locations, offering apparel for men, women and children, nationwide and internationally throughout 43 countries.

Joe’s Jeans, Inc. (323-837-3700) plans to open a 1,500 sq.ft. Joe’s Jeans store at the Aventura Mall, located along Biscayne Boulevard in Aventura, FL. The store will be the company’s 23rd location and will join Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Michael Kors at the site. The company is also planning to open additional locations during the year. Kohl’s Corp. (262-703-7000) is planning to open a Kohl’s along North Vermilion Street in Danville, IL. The store is slated to open next year and will join Meijer and T.J. Maxx at the site. Supervalu, Inc. (952-828-4000) plans to open 50 Save-A-Lot stores during 2013 as part of a goal to open 250 locations during the next five years. The company currently operates 1,900 supermarkets.

(781-737-3000), through franchises, plan to open 25 Dunkin’ Donuts in TX, over the next several years, including 16 locations in Houston with the first opening slated for 2013 and the remainder by 2018 and five locations in San Antonio, slated to open by 2016. The company currently operates more than 10,000 locations worldwide, including 7,000 locations in 36 states nationwide and more than 3,000 locations in 31 countries. Darden Restaurants, Inc. (407-245-4000) plans to open a Seasons 52 restaurant at the MarketFair Mall, located in Princeton, NJ. The restaurant is slated to open during spring 2014 and will be the company’s third location in NJ. The company currently operates 1,900 locations trading as Season 52 at 22 locations in 13 states, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, The Capital Grille and Bahama Breeze. Famous Dave’s of America, Inc.
