Who’s Opening and Where Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. (781-737-3000), through franchisees, plans to open 17 Dunkin’ Donuts locations throughout Jacksonville and southern FL during the next several years. Franchisee MMM Franchising Group, Inc. will open ten locations throughout the northeastern Dade, Doral-Hialeah and southern Miami regions of Miami-Dade County, with one opening slated for 2011 and the remaining nine to open by 2017. S. Gordon Restaurant Group, LLC, will open five locations in southeastern Palm Beach County and southwestern Broward County, with one location to open during 2011 and the remaining four to open by 2016. Another franchisee will open two locations in Jacksonville, during 2012 and 2013. The company currently operates 9,000 locations nationwide and internationally throughout 30 countries. Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. (248223-9160), as a franchisee, plans to open two Buffalo Wild Wings locations in Chesterfield and Marquette, MI this year. The company also plans to open a 150,000 sq.ft. store at the intersection of Lemmon Drive and Sky Vista Parkway in the North Valleys area of NV during late 2011. The company opened a 32,500 sq.ft. location at English Creek Shopping Center, located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, during April. The opening was the company’s first in the state. BrandsMart USA (800-432-8579) is slated to open a 44,500 sq.ft., two-story electronics store in a former Linens ‘N Things site located in Dadeland, FL. The location is about half the size of the company’s flagship stores, and will include a smaller amount of warehouse space than a typical location. The store is slated to open during the fall. Costco Wholesale Corp. (425-313-8000) plans to open a 154,276 sq.ft. Costco wholesale club at the intersection of Mall Drive and Koger Center Boulevard in Richmond, VA. The opening will replace an existing, smaller Costco located along Hull Street Road, and will include gasoline facilities. The store is slated to open during the fall. Bass Pro Shops, Inc. (417-873-5000) plans to open a 130,000 sq.ft. to 150,000 sq.ft. Bass Pro Shops on 25 acres along the Expressway 77/83 Interchange in Harlingen, TX. The store will anchor Cameron Crossing, a planned 100-acre retail development, and is slated to open during late 2011. The company currently operates 56 stores, offering hunting, fishing and camping gear, nationwide.

Ross Dress for Less in a former Safeway site at Alameda Towne Centre, a 573,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Park Street and Otis Drive in Alameda, CA. Pearl’s Deluxe Hamburgers, Pagano’s Hardware Store, Sophistry Skin Care and Fruits & Chocolates are also slated to open locations at the center. Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corp. (609-387-7800) plans to open an 81,721 sq.ft. Burlington Coat Factory in a former Dillard’s site at Chesapeake Square Mall, located in Chesapeake, VA.
