Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (479-273-4000) is planning to open an 186,000 sq.ft. Walmart situated on 27 acres, located at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Loop 12 Ledbetter in Dallas, TX. The store is slated to open during early 2014. The company is also planning to open a 98,000 sq.ft. Walmart Supercenter in the former Ringling Shopping Center, located in Sarasota, FL. The store is slated to open during 2014 and will be the first Walmart Supercenter in the city. The company is also planning to open two Walmart Neighborhood Markets, including one in a 38,640 sq.ft. store at Crossroads at Mandarin, located along Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin, FL and a 39,665 sq.ft. store in Merrill Station along Merrill Road in Arlington, FL. The company is also planning to open a 125,000 sq.ft. Walmart Supercenter in a former Sears at Penn Center East, located at the intersection of Kingston Drive and Route 22 in Wilkins, PA.
