The company is also planning to open a Walmart in Fairview, TN during 2014.The company, offering general merchandise, groceries, health and beauty items and electronics, trades as Walmart, Walmart Supercenter and Walmart Neighborhood Market and currently operates more than 9,000 locations nationwide and internationally, including 380 locations throughout Canada. Cabela’s, Inc. (308-254-5505) is planning to open an 86,000 sq.ft. Cabela’s store at Prairie Lakes Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Highway 151 and Grand Avenue in Sun Prairie, WI during spring 2015. Franchisee, HT2 Franchising, is also planning to open nine locations in Reno, NV by 2020, with the first restaurant slated to open during 2015. Nordstrom, Inc. Tractor Supply Co., Inc. (615-366-4600) is planning to open a Tractor Supply Co. store located along West Pierson Road in Mt. Morris Township, MI during 2014. Smoothie King Franchises, Inc. (985-6356973), under a franchisee, is planning to open three Smoothie King shops in the Chicago, IL market during early 2016, with the first location slated to open in Naperville during spring 2014. The company also plans to open 1,000 franchised and corporate locations nationwide during the next five years. The company, offering smoothies, energy bars, snack items and vitamin supplements, currently operates more than 500 locations nationwide, as well as throughout the Cayman Islands, Singapore and the South Korea. Meijer, Inc. (952-828-4000) is planning to open a 200,000 sq.ft. Meijer superstore grocery store at the intersection of Illinois 173 and Perryville Road in Machesney Park, IL during 2015. The company is also slated to open another 200,000 sq.ft. superstore along Perryville Road at the intersection of Rockford and Rote Road during 2015. Whole Foods Market, Inc. (512-477-4455) is planning to open a Whole Foods supermarket at Park Chelsea, a mixed-use development located in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, DC during early 2017. The chain, offering organic and natural food items, currently operates more than 355 specialty supermarkets nationwide, as well as in Canada and the United Kingdom.
