Walmart Supercenter along Petersen Road in Suisun City, CA and a location in Boca Raton, as well as a store in Devils Lake, ND during 2014. The company also plans to open a Walmart Neighborhood Market in a former Winn Dixie at the Boynton Trail Center, located at the intersection of West Boynton Beach Boulevard and South Military Trail in Boynton, FL during January 2013. In addition, Walmart Neighborhood Market locations are slated to open in Delray Beach and Deerfield Beach during 2013. The company is also planning to open a 345,000 sq.ft. Walmart along Island Ford Road in Madisonville, KY during 2015. Projections also call for 18 openings throughout southern FL by spring 2014. The company trades as Walmart, Walmart Supercenter and Walmart Neighborhood Market and currently operates more than 9,000 locations nationwide internationally throughout 15 countries. IKEA (610-834-0180) is planning to open a 470,000 sq.ft. home-furnishings store situated on 22 acres along Interstate 5, south of Providencia Avenue and west of San Fernando Boulevard in Burbank, CA. The store will be the company’s largest location in the U.S. and is slated to open during 2016. The company currently operates more than 38 locations nationwide. Baccarat (800-215-1300) is planning to open a 2,800 sq.ft. flagship store at the intersection of Madison Avenue and 60th Street in New York, NY during May 2013. The store will serve as the new global retail model for the chain and feature tableware, lighting, decorative objects and jewelry. The company will also open a location along West 53rd Street in New York, NY during 2014. Nordstrom, Inc. (206-628-2111) is slated to open a Nordstrom Rack at The Mayfair Collection in Mayfair, WI during 2015. It will be the company’s first Nordstrom Rack in the state. The company currently operates more than 234 locations throughout 31 states nationwide, under the tradenames Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Jeffrey boutiques and Treasure & Bond. Gordmans Stores, Inc. (402-691-4000) plans to open nine Gordman’s department stores during 2013 and enter three new states. The chain is expected to open 10 locations during 2014. Whole Foods Market at Westfield Countryside Mall, located in Pinellas County, FL as well as locations in Clearwater, FL during 2014. In addition, the company is also slated to open two supermarkets in Morris County, NJ during the next few years, including a location in a former A&P along Washington Avenue in Morristown during 2014 and a store along Route 46 in Parsippany. The chain is also planning to open stores in Closter and Marlboro, NJ. The company projects 65 openings by 2015 and triple its U.S. store count. The chain, offering organic and natural food items, currently operates 342 specialty supermarkets nationwide, including 10 locations in NJ, as well as in Canada and the United Kingdom. David’s Bridal (877-923-2743) is planning to open an 8,164 sq.ft. store at Great Northeast Plaza, located at the intersection of Cottman Avenue and Bustleton Avenue in Philadelphia, PA during spring 2013. The bridal shop will cotenant with Target, Sears, PetSmart and Pathmark at the 883,000 sq.ft. center. The Kroger Co. (513-762-4000) is planning to open its largest Kroger Marketplace supermarket in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. at the former Cloverleaf Mall in Chesterfield, VA. The store will be 123,000 sq.ft. and will include a furniture and baby section and is slated to open during summer 2014. Niemann Foods (888-722-6629) plans to open a 42,000 sq.ft. County Market supermarket at Carriage Center along South Neil Street during 2014. The company also plans to open a 3,000 sq.ft. County Market Express along Devonshire Road.in Champaign, IL. Saks, Inc. (212-940-5305) plans to open a 28,000 sq.ft. Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth at a 400,000 sq.ft. proposed open-air shopping center in Minneapolis, MN during fall 2014. The company trades as Saks Fifth Avenue OFF Fifth and Saks Fifth Avenue. Century 21 (212-227-9092) plans to open a Century 21 discount department store at City Point in Brooklyn, NY during 2015. The company will join Armani Exchange at the center. Dillard’s (501-376-5200) is planning to open a bi-level 200,000 sq.ft. store at the Shops of Summerlin in Las Vegas, NV during fall 2014. Menard, Inc. (715-876-5911) plans to open a 162,000 sq.ft. Menards store situated on 62 acres and located at the intersection of Jackson Road and Staebler Road in Scio Township, MI during 2014. The company currently operates 270 locations throughout 14 states nationwide, including 22 stores in MI. Togo’s Eateries, Inc. (408-280-6569) is planning to open a Togo’s restaurant in Healdsburg, CA during early 2013 and also plans to have 400 locations operating throughout AZ, CA, ID, NV, OH, UT and WA by 2015. The chain, offering premium meats and artesian bread, currently operates 250 locations throughout the west coast of the U.S. Subway (203-877-4281) is planning to open a 2,000 sq.ft. restaurant in a portion of a former 12,500 sq.ft. Maytag building located along South College Avenue in the midtown section of Ft. Collins, CO. The sub shop is slated to open during May 2013. Giant Eagle (715-876-5911) is planning to open a Giant Eagle supermarket at Newbury Market, an 88-acre mixed-use shopping center located in South Fayette, PA. The grocery store is slated to open during 2014. The company currently operates more than 200 supermarkets nationwide. Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas, Ltd. (512-2195408) plans to open an Alamo Drafthouse restaurant in Brooklyn, NY during 2015.
