Mesa is a community that embraces economic prospects, environmental sustainability and creates connections between people and place all while fostering a healthy and sustainably growing community. Through educational preservation of the environment and reconecting people and the place in which they reside, the Cornucopia Green Infrastructure Plan gives the unique opportunity for a utopia in the desert.
Adventure is a future park and trails system located in the most Northern part of the City of Mesa in Arizona. Cradled by mountains of the North-East, Salt River on the North and the SRP Canal on the South end, this site has amazing and beautiful potential.
The mission of Adventure is to create a trail system and parkway that evokes community members to become engaged and active with one another and the natural ecology all whilst creating a sense of unity and place for the community of Mesa.

After gathering inventory for the site, the different aspects were looked at and analyzed to come up with an opportunities and constrains map. Here, we noted that some of the biggest constraints were issues like no green space and lack of connectivity. It was important to use this in creating the concept ad site plan as well as the details of the site.

Currently the site is widely unused short of some residential development in the middle and south parts of the area. As for around the canal, there is a small unpaved trail that passes behind some housing and a materials company. Though green space and park space seems slim, there is a unique chance to channel the natural landscape of LehiFalls.
