P.K Sharma, President of AREIDA has said, "Assam must learn to live with earthquakes; and Guwahati cannot escape high rise buildings due scarcity and affordability of residential land." "After surveying the building damage in Guwahati, the construction industry deserves a word of appreciation for the building performance in withstanding the seismic forces.
