After demise of her father, financial condition of her family weakened compelling her to work as a house maid in Guwahati. Thereafter she continued working in a noodle making plant at Nine Mile for a paltry sum of Rs 3000/- staying in a cramped one room shanty for a Rs 500/- monthly rental.
