ET CAPSULES Illegal Bangladeshi nabbed in Ledo Ledo, Jul 22: Ledo Police Outpost incharge, Mr Dipjyoti Daodhara, and Ledo Village Defence Party (VDP) Members acting on a tip-off jointly nabbed an illegal Bangladeshi national from Ledo Masjid area on 21 July night when he was going to bed. The nabbed illegal Bangladeshi national has been identified as Mohammed Jahangir Alam, son of Bashar Alam, resident of Fatiksari Gaon, Chittagong, Bangladesh. The deadly Japanese Encephalitis (JE) has claimed six lives this year so far in Dibrugarh. Gagan Chetry, 62, resident of Santoshishima lane in Dibrugarh died of JE on July 15 at AMCH. Earlier, he was tested positive for the disease. Another lady, Sultana Khautun, 67, resident of Mulukubsha, Dibrugarh tested positive and is under-

going treatment at AMCH. “We have already collected blood samples from the area. The positive cases of Japanese Encephalitis are reported and sent to the Micro Biology Laboratory in the AMCH for tests," said Amrit Baruah, Joint Director of Health, Dibrugarh.
