Hidden agenda of BJP to snatch power has finally surfaced : Richo A Staff Reporter Itanagar, June 27

After reports came out that BJP national president Amit Shah had sent a message to Chief Minister Kalikho Pul regarding the merger of his team in the People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) with the BJP, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) claimed that the hidden agenda

of the BJP has finally surfaced. However, BJP state unit president Tapir Gao, who had conveyed the message to Pul, denied of setting a deadline for the merger. The APCC claimed that the BJP has threatened that President’s Rule would be imposed in the state again to destabilize the present PPA Government if the PPA Government does not merge

with the BJP. The Congress frontal wing also alleged that after the change of guard in the state, Tapir Gao and leader of BJP Tamiyo Taga stated that they were part of the political crisis and involved in toppling the Congress Government in the state a few months earlier. “Appointing a governor with RSS background and using the Raj Bhawan as BJP

headquarter is known to everyone”, said APCC president Padi Richo, and reiterated his claim that the BJP had directed the governor to pre-pone the Assembly session on 16 December, 2015, instead of the session summoned by the state government for January 14, 2016.

It might be mentioned that union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan had recently stated in Guwahati that exploiting these small fields required micro-level management and specific technologies, making it unattractive for the two public

Sources informed ET that this group was active ever since hard core Ulfa cadre Mekuri was gunned down during an encounter few weeks back. These sulfa had letter pads given by Mekuri which they used for extortion, added sources and said, fourth member of the group has been identified as Dharmen Moran of Ratanipathar who is absconding and hunt to nab him is on. It is important to mention here that at regular times some people with criminal bent and surrendered ulfa takes opportunity to extort money from businessmen here in Tinsukia district in the name of Ulfa. It is the alertness of both, Tinsukia police and army, who have ensured that such people are nabbed before the situation is worsened. In many cases, security forces has arrested such people well before they could collect a single rupee against their extortion calls.

The vast majority of lives, in football and elsewhere, end in failure. The poignant farewell, the reminder of the transitory nature of the gloria mundi, is familiar parts of the narrative. But still, there would be something desperately sad, desperately unfulfilling, and desperately banal, if Lionel Messi’s international career were to end with a penalty blazed over the bar in East Rutherford. The MetLife Stadium in

New Jersey may be excellently appointed, but it is not one of football’s great arenas. The Copa América Centenario may have proved more engaging than many imagined, but it is not one of football’s great tournaments – it is not even, Conmebol decided last week, a Copa América. This was not a place for Lionel to say goodbye. After Sunday’s Copa América final defeat to Chile, he sounded adamant. “My thinking right now and thinking about it in the

dressing room, I’m done playing with the national team,” he said, face solemn, barely able to meet the eye of the journalists who surrounded him. “I tried my hardest, it’s been four finals but I was not able to win. I tried everything possible. It’s hurts me more than anyone but it is evident that this is not for me.” That echoed what he had said before the game, when he had reflected glumly on three lost finals and spoke about changing history.
