Krishak Mukti Sangram Samity(KMSS) today criticized the police administration for failing to stop the drug racket in Dibrugarh. In a press conference, the organization told the media person that on Thursday KMSS and Chatra Mukti Sangram Samity(CMSS) with the conglomeration of other 25 organization would organise a protest rally against the rampant selling of drugs in Dibrugarh. “From Amolapatty Natya Mandir our procession will start and pass through the main streets of Dibrugarh town and we will submit a memorandum to Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner to take action the drug mafia and root out the whole business from Dibrugarh,’’ Pradip Haloi, President of KMSS, Dibrugarh district.
