2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. Chosen from 70 submissions, the song came out of a collaborative PANAMANIA Songworks camp hosted by the Songwriters Association of Canada (S.A.C), Canada’s largest national arts not-for-profit organization. The intensive multi-day workshop brought together established writers, mentors and emerging songwriters from various musical and cultural backgrounds to foster the creation of new works. >>>DENHAM, page 12

Etobicoke’s brand new, worldclass BMX track, built for this summer’s Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, will get a big trial run this weekend, hosting this season’s first two Canada Cup events with $13,000 in prize money. Organized by the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games BMX Sport Organizing Committee

(SOC) along with Cycling Canada, the event is serving as an unofficial test event for the 2015 Pan Am Games, giving athletes unprecedented access to the brand new facility just weeks before the best riders from the Americas are welcomed. Canada Cup events take place on Saturday and Sunday.
