PICK OF THE CROP: Noorie Sahota isn’t afraid of a little bit of hard work. She has been helping her family at the Etobicoke Civic Centre Farmers’ Market, which takes place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October, since she was a toddler. Sahota gets a basket of cucumbers and peppers ready for sale, as this is the time to buy for pickling. The next two weeks are also the best crop in peppers. See more photos on page 20.
