What is this subject all about at Senior Cycle?
Irish History: 1916 Rising, Fianna Fail, Cumman na nGaedheal Governments, Treaty Negotiations, The Forming of the Republic, Ireland during WW2 and the split between North and South Ireland. American History: The Moon Landing, The Space Race, NASA, Vietnam War, Korean War, Racial Conflict in USA, Montgomery Bus Boycott. Dictatorship and Democracy: Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini as establishing dictatorships; Britain, France Russia, America and Germany during WW2 events. Northern Ireland: The Apprentice Boys, The Orange Order, The 1960s Troubles onwards, The Sunningdale Agreement and The Good Friday Agreement.
Will learning this subject at Senior Cycle be different to what I studied at Junior Cycle?
