Everything for Ranchers but Rain

A 2019 own daughter of “Bet Hesa Cat” (LTE $272,151) out of a “WR This Cats Smart” daughter, “Pinkie” was started by Oscar Thomison, proceeded by a year in his cowhorse program. She then went on to a calf horse program with Zeke Griffith, where she competed at the 2023 Roping Futurities of America in the tiedown and breakaway roping, making her an earner of $8,500 early in her four-year-old year. This mare has the tools to make a solid Pro rodeo horse; the brains and catty disposition to make her an excellent dual eventer in the roping and cow horse for a handy high schooler; and the pedigree to make her a phenomenal broodmare later in life. Ruby Buckle, Riata Buckle, and Royal Crown eligible. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for an outstanding-bred mare who has already proven herself a money earner with a career that has just begun.

Big, shapey, pretty, and broke—that’s “Frankie.” He lopes nice circles and stays in your hand. Broke enough to show in the Ranch Pleasure classes and a standout rope horse, too. With very limited showing, he earned his AQHA ROM with points in the heading and heeling and qualified for the AQHA Select Amateur World Show in the heading. “Frankie” also received an invite to the AQHA Open World Show and Amateur World Show (heading) in 2018 as just a five-year-old! He has also been used to catch stray cattle outside in the pastures, corn fields, and anywhere else they need catching. Been hauled to the USTRC, World Series, and other jackpots. “Frankie” loads and hauls good, is easy to shoe, clip, and bathe. Up to date on shots, teeth, worming. It is not very often you find solid geldings like “Frankie,” that have been in the same hands for seven years. Don’t overlook him. Call Dennis with any questions.

“Quigley” is a big, stand-up, gentle family gelding. He has been ridden on the ranch his whole life and has done all the ranch chores. “Quigley” has been hauled all over to the jackpots in the heading. He scores great and does his job with ease. He is a pleasure to trim and shoe. No buck or silly business here. “Quigley” has been a pleasure to have around. Call Ty or Gannon for more information.

“Pepper” is a home-raised four-year-old that is the most willing and well-minded horse I’ve ever rode. Summer of ’22 he was used on a large yearling operation. Has drug calves to the fire and is efficient at all types of ranch work. He has been started hauling in the heading and is ready to go in the heeling, as well. He is BROKE, gentle, and pretty. Won the first roping he was taken to. OUTSTANDING prospect with a huge future.

“Copenhagen” is the perfect size, balanced, athletic, smart, and willing. We’ve owned him since he was a weanling and brought his training along steadily and correctly. No vices, no issues, and 100% sound. Ties, bathes, loads, and catches easily. He’s great on the trail or in the arna and loves to go to work. Been hauled all over and ridden through all types of terrain; he is always quiet, calm, and collected. He has made lots of outside miles on the ranch and excels in and out of the arena. “Copenhagen” placed 2nd at the Farmers and Ranchers Ranch Horse Futurity in 2022, winning $5,082. He is an awesome breakaway and heel horse. Solid in the box, great rate, and nice sliding stops. Ridden through herds of cows and horses and never gets excited. If you are looking for that confidence builder, he would love that job! He will go steady and safely down the trail, through water, over logs and bridges. Carries flags. This horse is a kind soul. He’s very easy to handle, he’s simple to ride. Guides very easy with a great neck rein. Kid’s horse deluxe—anyone and everyone can ride and enjoy.

We bought “Smokin” from the ranch that raised him. He’s gentle, gentle and safe for anyone. We’ve turned him out all winter and can saddle him and ride him off. Sound with absolutely no buck or bad habits. Good to cover country, cross water, sort cattle, rope outside, drag calves or whatever you want to do. Would make a great family horse or youth horse. This good-looking gray horse won’t disappoint!
